ARURF again?

Title kind of says it All, we're getting ARURF for this year's winter snowdown, and I was wondering why we can't just have URF back one more time. ARURF has all of the same problems ARAM does, but instead of being able to just play a little smarter and dodge the skillshots to find openings, all you can do is sit 1000 units from the minions losing exp and gold when you're faced against a team that has a little bit more poke and harass than you do.

Can we just have URF and have the system auto ban the 5 most popular champions of the previous day, forcing some variety.

Can we get champions intentionally banned for URF, banned for ARURF, when they get picked it's incredibly frustrating to deal with, especially since we can't counter pick something that might be able to handle it, let alone picking what we wanna play.

Am I the only one who misses traditional URF? I don't wanna make it seem like this thread is all about whining and complaining, but one of the big reasons I come back to league now and again is when URF rolls around, and TBH I'm not really looking forwards to ARURF AGAIN, played it on the PBE a few rounds just to see how things are, nothing is different, if you run into a poke lane and the majority of your team is melee, you've most likely lost at champion select.

And since I'm certain it won't be changing, will we ever see normal URF ever again?

Doubt it. I like ARURF.

You find new things to do rather than getting stuck against Karma/Maokai/Sona/Hecarim/Garen picks half the time. (Oh there's many more that I missed but these were the obnoxious ones that I could think of from regular URF)

URF is never coming back. ARURF is all there is.

Random was the choice that the community was screaming for, people keep complaining about how URF was so "boring" with the same champs being played every game. But I do remember, at that time, when URF constantly have complaints about how every game is compose of the same champions, or people getting flame for not picking "Urf Meta" picks. And these threads would get up votes with numerous of people supporting this idea of making the game mode random. There wasn't a single soul that speak against it. The revolution and petition is already over, Riot had made the choice of making the game mode random just as the community ask them. To the people that complain, you should have voice your opinion about random mode when it was relevant. Riot isn't going to reverse the change just to please this group and anger the other.

same here foggy i only come back online on april first, hopeing urf is up and if its not ill go back offline for a whole year, because league is so stale nowadays , non stop annoying ppl who belittle team mates , too much effort to kill jungles, drags, barons and ect. i've been here since season 1. back then i could play any game mode any map 24/7 an never be bored win or lose had a great time. btw "every champ was op back then so either way you had a advantage". the champs were op not the jungles ect. they had waaaaaay less complaining back then too I've played atleast 1500 normal summoner's rift right before s2.it was a epic time to play and everyone knows it. its sad to see what league has turned into.
