Scaling is way off
I've had so many games now where one team seems to lose just because some champions scale better than others. Most of the time I find myself wondering "Just what did we/the enemy team do to suddenly got the better of us?", and I never seem to find a clear answer. I try to look at farm, kills, latest teamfights, objectives, everything but nothing seems to change so drastically to turn around the game. It just suddenly happens, suddenly the losing team gains a magical power and starts wiping the winning team across the floor.
No matter how I look at it, I always end up in one conclusion, the champion picks. Whenever a team just suddenly turns around the game, they always seem to do it just because they made the right choice when they chose the champion. Some champions just seem to be able to turn around a whole game just by being the champion they are. They don't need to do anything special, they just have to wait until they gain a few items and levels.
The games are no longer what they once where. I remember a time where comebacks were a wonderous thing. Something that brought the feeling of ultimate accomplishment when you used every bit of your skills to win the "already lost" game. Now comebacks only require waiting. Right now the best example of this kind of gameplay is the way you play Kayle
. And before I start, I do not the she is op or too strong. I just think the whole way you play the champion is plain moronic. The whole expectation is that you lose the early game, feed and get utterly destroyed but still win the game after you hit level 11 and get two items. You can spend the whole game just going top and farm until you hit the required amount. Killing you doesn't reward the enemy team as they get 100 gold and leaving you there only makes you scale more. What a nice champion to play against.
Who thinks this kind of gameplay is fun? It feels pointless to even win your lane as suddenly the opponent can 5 vs 1 the whole team. I hate it over everything that a champion that is 2/10 can be just as threathening as a champion that is 10/2. What would it be if the stats were turned around you think? Well now you have an enemy champion that is able to 5 vs 1 the whole team just because someone accidentally gave it a few kills. Isn't the point of scaling champions to do that only in the late game? For example
Requires his level 16 before being like this and even then he isn't nearly as r%%%%%ed as most are. The game is not punishing enough for champions like this. Losing early game has lost it's meaning, unless the one winning it is also a champion like Irelia
Here's some of the champions I think are like this:
