Grey health balancing

So when up against someone who has high health, you build blade of the ruin king or use champs with hp percentage damage.... When up against someone healing a lot, you get grievous wounds. But up against tahm kench and the new pike who have a gray health mechanic, there is nothing to do against that. Pike can go full ad and you poke the heck out of him but he has a scary hook to be afraid of all inning... he has a dash that also stuns.... he has stealth.... then when he gets away, sits back for a bit behind turret or in fog of war, and regenerates a ton of damage dealt to him back because of gray health... There is not a lot of things to do against that unless you all in and kill him.

Tahm kench is worse. Freaking broken. He builds health, which I find to be one of the best stat for survivability since it helps against physical, magical, and true damage. He is already tough to take down normally, but then he has gray health which he can activate an ability to turn it into a shield making it basically a second bar of health, but if he doesn't, he will negate a ton of damage that was dealt by regenerating from the gray health. But then, the hp he stacks also increases his insane damage hp percentage damage that scales with his health.... along with his cc and utility of being able to protect his adc by basically making any ally gone from the game while inside his tummy. Beatable yes, just incredibly hard to play against.

Them both having utility, great damage, and insane grey health is just ridiculous... But let's be real, there's too many things that are ridiculous in this game am I right?

Pyke's grey health needs to decay over time as long as he's in sight of enemies rather than staying in the same state. Since how mobile he is (W giving movement speed and E dash), he shouldn't be rewarded this easy

I will admit, as a Pyke main:

I really hate the fact that I can take half of my health as damage, then walk out for a bit and regen the majority of it. I wish we (and TK players.) got punished for making bad plays. At the very least, we should have to stay out of combat for much longer.

Obviously that means TK and Pyke would need compensation buffs, but as of right now I will say I hate the gray health mechanic.

I think it would be really cool if Pyke and TahmKench got far less gray health for simply taking damage, but could GAIN gray health for being active and skillful. For example, whenever Pyke lands a hook on an enemy champion, he'd get a chunk of grey health. This would give him a bit of a buffer from the damage he's about to receive, rewards skill, and makes it so that bad Pyke players can get poked out significantly harder than good Pyke players. This could be something just on his hook, or on his E as well, or even a small amount on his autos. He'd have to actively interact with his lane opponent in order to make the most of his gray health.

Honestly the counterplay is 'stack CC so they can't use it'.

Buuut if you do that, then you're not CCing the carries/assassins, aaaaand everyone on your team died.
