Ancient Coin was a mistake.
The scrounging the ground for coins RNG (Read: You can be arbitrarily screwed by bad spawns in either shit locations or a mana coin when you dont need it) minigame is easily punished by competent laners since it all but requires you to poke your head out of position. The Only way you're not eating some poke for trying to collect gold is if you have lane dominance (which you won't because you're picking ancient coin) or you are laning against actual coma patients. The stats it offers are unappealing, and buffing it's HP regen won't do anything since enchanters as a class have universally atrocious HP regen (for good reason), and it's quest reward is flat out inferior to the quest rewards of the other items.
It will also cease to be at level 18. Because don't we all love it when the worst benefit is also the only one on a functionality timer.
