I love this game but might quit because..

I'm really just sick of the AFK'ers that run rampant in this game. Why can't there be stronger punishments for AFK/Leavers? I'd rather verbal abuse all day over a leaver. We were doing decently well in my last game until Thresh left. We had 2 inhibs down, I was legendary Vi, and we had invested almost 40 minutes into a very close game.

This thresh just up and leaves and ruins the entire game. We worked hard as a team, were having a good time, and were very close to securing the win.

If the game gold stopped at the moment the person left the game, we could have won, but eventually the gold didn't matter and our prolonged 4v5 where we were so close to winning even with the 4, eventually led them into a full build and outmanning us.. was always one person left to down our base.

Our base and turrets were mostly untouched before the leave!!

I agree with ya man, Ranked or Normals, AFKer's and DC's are rampant. It's a real shame nothing has been done about it yet.

Also where the hell is our replay for matches? Would be such a useful tool to help people improve.

Don't act like it doesn't happen in ranked. I tried ranked a few times.. got 4v5s more than in normals...

This game is too old not to have solved this issue better . I know it can't be completely fixed, but repeat AFK/Leavers should be banned for hours->days->perma

League of Legends is a buisness, do AFK'ers make you not play the game even if you dont. No? Well Riot wont do anything abou it cause those AFk'ers bring in money. Money is money doesn't matter if it comes from a AFK or you. and ever thought maybe these afk'er dont live and breath LOL. Maybe they want to get in a game right before work but, realized game was taking to long and had to leave, its only a game after all.

That Thresh wasn't doing too bad though... you never know what happened on his end. I've left 2 games in my 5+ years playing but both were within these last couple months.

One game the power cut out in the small town I moved to that wasn't weather related thus unforeseeable, and the other was because my girlfriend found our pet lying dead on the floor.

I used to get upset at all leavers, but people don't always leave because its a "bad game" or whatever.
