I finally have come to the conclusion that I am a "filthy noob" and should "git gud" because I can't stand Yasuo. There is nothing fun about going against him at any given point. I'm not even concerned about his balance currently (although I also am salty about that too) At what point is Yas going to not be an absolute burden to play against. Even when Yasuo isn't even considered a logical meta pick, laning against him is a full-time job, filled with non interactive passive shielding and being unsafe in your own minions.

And good luck if you have a skillshot. You might as well build a tear because that's the only way spending any mana will be worth it. "Well mister if you build some armor he will do less damage" oh he certainly will do less damage but just give him a phantom dancer and it doesn't matter because he out tanks you. Throw in a dash of Conqueror and you got a healthy dish of squishy bursting and tank shredding.

"Just play safe and waveclear" No problem buddy, I will just let him push in the wave with zero restraints while I hope my mana bar decides to fill up again. Then I'll go grab a ball gag and a leash so I can just be his Bi-

Of course I could just play close to turret range and he can't dive me. SIKE!!! Riot decides to code that if he would be placed in turret range because his ult should put him behind the opponent, it instead will try to put him outside of it. (If he would be placed in turret range and there is no way he can be placed out of it though it will put him under turret.

People complain about champions that are just balls of stats (old poppy) but Yasuo's passive is like "hey man I heard you like crit, so I put some crit on your crit. Also here is a shield, don't ask about why" Then he ults and its like "don't worry about that armor man, I'll just get rid of that for you. Also here is a shield, don't ask about why"

But the main reason that I find Yasuo to a completely gross as a character is his windwall. Once you have finally hit him to get rid of his shield, and he managed to dash to all of the minions in the lane, and you have cleared the minions in the lane so as to not lose CS, you can finally launch that projectile (point and click or not) just to have it windwalled right before your very eyes.

And god forbid you and your team try to teamfight because he is going to dip, dash, dive, dodge, and dash. You better have the fastest hands in the west because clicking on that man is impossible.

To conclude, Yasuo may not be broken (I can accept that he isn't OP at all points in the history of league) but he is undoubtedly my least favorite champ to go against. It's just not fun in the slightest to be in a lane against him and he seems to have a lot of extra stuff kinda tacked on.

Wind Wall is a ultimate level ability and deserves an ultimate level cooldown.

His natural survivability should be dependent on his maneuvering and slightly on his passive, not on his wind wall that is up every minion wave.

Yasuo should NEVER had been released with his current kit of abilities. It's blatantly overloaded with too many things, counters whole classes (mages, ranged ADCs) and is extremely toxic and frustating.

The only reason he exists is because CertainlyT is allowed to do this kind of shit designs and go away with it.

I ban him every match. Unfortunately this leaves other bull shit open like current meta champs (DrMundo Graves Kaisa etc.).

This should not be the way to deal with a champ, but if you're not part of a well cohesive team with a good comp (ie. soloQ), then Yasuo is just a pain in the ass.

Been waiting for a solution to Yas since last June when they brought up his rework due to an excessive ban rate. Then, runes reforged came out and they buffed him. For now its ban or dodge.

Can you give some long overdue comment on the inordinate, overwhelming and growing amount of player feedback you continue to receive on Yasuo Zed? Some context and explanation which takes into account the high pick and win rate coinciding with the steady stream of buffs falling out of the clear blue sky would be a good start.

I think if every champion had as much utility as people like Ryze, Yasuo and Azir do, there wouldn't be a problem, because Yasuo isn't bound to the mere "Oh, you just did a thing? Well, time to just sit around for a little bit until your long, long cooldowns come back" philosophy most people endure; there's always something Yasuo CAN do

But his Windwall is horseshit tho; as someone who plays Yasuo, he NEEDS it to not die. But as someone who plays against Yasuo, it's just hORRIBLE to deal with. They should turn his W into an empower that makes his next Q shoot out a 0.5 second windwall instead, instead of it just being something he puts down once for the free invincibility, even whilst he's attacking marksmen.

A lot of yas mains can't deal with the fact that people don't want to play against yas, not because he is OP, but because he is fucking infuriating to play against in a way that few other champions are. Sure, he has hard counters. I don't want to play those hard counters, so he gets banned instead.

I play this game for fun, not as a chore.

Consider that more than half of games have banned his hasagi-screeching ass. And he's been at that banrate for a long time now.

With 100k in yasuo, (not a yasuo main, just find airblades fun), I feel he's honestly pretty broken, his kits just overloaded. Double crit, a shield, built in armor shred, his disgusting w, and near infinite dashes as long as you have a brain cell. plus a ranged auto, that procs on hits and can knockup. He's not broken like say ryze is currently broken (speaking in an lcs sense), he's more broken in the way that as long as he understands to build a qss and avoid cc, he's solo que broken.

We all have outback champs that cause us to develope the salt. Mine used to be yasuo (I would have a small aneurism when he showed in my lane) but I have learned to deal with him. It has now changed to tryn. Not because he beats me, you just have to micro manage his “oh I lost lane but i can still take all the towers” having ass. So I feel ya.

many people are still in denial but this champ is not just the biggest tumor in league but also fckn broken his w alone is the dumbest ability in the game and you dont even have to aim it xdddddd it will block projectiles even if you put it behind you well whatever riot ignored posts about him i guess they'll never do anything about him even though he has a high banrate (which indicates that there are A LOT of players that dont enjoy playing against or with this champ) since forever idc about his winrate its the same as lee a few years ago when he was clearly broken despite having under 50% wr its because many wannabe samurais pick him despite not being able to play him (prob because he is fun to play for many players) which means that he sells skins very well same shit all over again we already had this with lee when he dominated the jungle FOR YEARS and wasnt touched (just buffed if anything) eventually they did something about him maybe they will come around (doubt it)

I don't think there's anything else to add,you summed it up perfectly,the most frustrating part of his kit is his Windwall,especially for any mage or adc main,there's just no worse feeling in the world for you to blow a 100 sec cd ultimate for him to block it with his 15 second WW,or to go in and out of it so you cant deal any damage to him and just have to run,but no you cant run cause he can dash to you,cause he can knock you up,cause he can slow you with a item 3022 i mean i'm plat,i used to play with Diamonds as well,there isn't a time where i said ok now i know how to handle this guy,im good enough,cause its not about skill,its about his fukin bullshit Windwall,its about his bullshit free double crit,about his bullshit shields,about his bullshit dashes.

I mean JUST ONE and i do mean ONE of those abilities is annoying by themselves,if he only had a 2x crit or that windwall or those dashes,but he has all 3 not to mention a shield and then another shield when he ults and not to mention armor pen. I mean i perma ban him every game,just yesterday first time ever i dont ban him and the enemy picks him,my swain goes 1/12,yasuo proceeds to 1v5 not to mention he had a morgana that shields him so we cant even cc him,and i just go into full tilt mode,i can't even play after that,i just go running in hoping for the game to finish as soon as possible so i don't have to live through that horror anymore.

Its amazing how league has something like 120 champs but only 1 champ is enough for it to completely ruin the game for everyone,i also don't understand why does every normal game have to have a Yasuo main in it with a Yasuo related name and a lvl 7 mastery,i mean i don't think there's ever been a champ that was mained as much as Yasuo,like can't you see how unoriginal you are,you're playing the most busted,frustrating champ ever while calling yourself Ya55uo just like 5 milion other kids that think they're this special Yasuo mains that actually can't play the game for shit unless you have a champ whos basic ability lets him block EVERY RANGED ULTIMATE EXCEPT FOR LUX AND VEL KOZ and unless you have a stupid amount of dashes so you can't get caught or people cant get away,unless you have stupid shields,stupid knock ups,stupid 2x crit that lets you go basically Tank and still do more damage than an ADC,i mean just everything about this champ is straight up cancer and i'd be happy if they deleted him from the game like literally

Yasuo is and has always been broken. His kit has 2 shields which makes him very safe. He has a slide which can be used almost infinitely with very little CD. He has MASSIVE damage. he has a knock up that he can use very often. He has everything but healing, which he can just but bloodthirster for, and get a third shield. His kit is fundamentally broken. Try to balance him as you want, he will always be a pain. No other champion has all the stuff Yasuo has.

if anything is horrible about yas, its his design but rito only nerfs damage for some reason. Real nerfs should target his windwall/mobility/shield and his damage can be buffed and still be fine

The day they introduced five bans, I banned Yasuo, and haven't stopped since. No other champion exists that I consider to be a waste of my time to go against.

The game that caused you to post this was you (Karthus) vs a Yasuo. Windfall stops none of your abilities and you build 0 armor to even try to survive against him.

I feel obligated to point out that PD gives Yas 120 extra hp for every 1000 damage he takes. So it's not like he turns into a tank or anything. He takes an extra auto attack if your ad, and two if your a mage.
