Why does everything in this game have to be unfair?

Not many champions are purely based off of skill (Nasus). Some champions are too rewarding (Morgana). And some champs you love playing but can't use correctly because riot didn't give them any survivablity (Soraka). I'm sitting here in LOVE with playing this game, but nearly every single game is a loss because of either a completely stupid feeding teammate, or just extremely overpowered/broken champions. People spend TIME and MONEY on this game, but can't play it fairly. I don't understand why riot is consistently trying to change the meta, rather than making the game fair to everybody. No that doesn't mean assassins shouldn't be able to oneshot and supports shouldn't heal/shield so much, but it's getting to a point where I can barely last a single game without getting overly tilted because of something that shouldn't be happening. I spend a lot of time trying to get better at the game, but it's almost useless considering riot HAS to make something overpowered. There aren't a lot of champions in the game and it shouldn't be hard to manage. I hope this thread does something to the game in the least.

Thanks for reading up on currently tilted Nomi. :)

Nasus doesn't take skill.

Isn't the concept of the MOBA's meta based off of the actions of the player? Back when I first joined League, this was about the time where Riot was apparently finally getting a rough idea of what the player base at the time considered a meta for Summoner's Rift. This eventually insinuated that bruisers/tanks were top, roamers/assassin's/ccer's were jungle, mage's mid, adc's and support's bot. As we head into the new season, it should be clear that this once solid meta has finally begun to fracture in a way that Riot can't ignore. At this point, I'm not sure what could really be considered fair or not with this game, because in the end, we're technically at just as much fault of the results as the company itself is. Can't imagine how many will want to argue against me for saying that alone, but it's not too far from the truth.

Now a few things I should point out. The first should be the most obvious but, what you're stating now, and what others will state in conjecture of this post will be seen as an opinion, though I'm sure you're already aware of this. The reason I bring this up is this up is that I've noticed your games have become more and more about supports as of late, which makes sense at this point as to why champions like Morgana would tilt you, and I can't argue against that. Morgana as a support is there to both be a nuisance and harass the opposing players with both damage and CC. The only thing I can really say about this is... nothing super helpful. Morgana has a more fit utility to cause a problem for champions like Soraka, especially if the skills shots from the Soraka don't always land, or if the ADC feels the need to body hug any snare that happens to come your guys' way. This does not mean Morgana is overpowered. It's just unfortunate circumstances.

The next is "There aren't a lot of champions in the game and it shouldn't be hard to manage.". Isn't there well over a hundred right now? I'll consider this as part of just being flippant with the post, but it feels pointless to mention if you aren't going to take your own point seriously enough to be accurate by at least that much.

The last thing is, many players have their own concept of what overpowered means. But many typically reflect this off of their personal experiences. The problem with this is, we're basically dealing with several people mentioning a circumstance of 'This vs that', and no proper medium to work with, since in reality, we're only dealing with a puzzle fragment too small to see neither the problem nor the solution. For example, I could detail a horrible experience I had as a Nasus fighting a Jayce, or as an illaoi fighting a Darius. I know full well, if I were to mention and/or complain about this in detail on the forums, I'd be facing the opinions of many who will either agree or disagree with what ultimately wound up being a one sided fight that ended with me just feeling frustrated with the result. It's why Riot does what they have to in order to get the necessary results, for better or worse.

Now as for my opinion in conjecture of yours.... I'm going to have to disagree. Nasus is rewarded with being tactful, but the only skill he demands of the player is patience in everything he does, from something as direct as farming, to something more complex as fighting/kiting the enemy player. Soraka is still a powerful healer, and I can't imagine a situation where I'd not want to take smite against an enemy Soraka, due to how powerful her heals can be, if I'm not in a team that can properly harass that kind of heavy handed healing. Morgana does have a somewhat forgiving reward system, sort of, but in a sense that she was originally a mid-laner. Her kit is built with the intent of CC and self-sustain, to utilize enemy movements in her favor. As a support, unless she goes damage, her utilization however, becomes more limited, s'long as you deny her the opportunities to make use of her snares.

I apologize if my post is all over the place, but I was never one to properly plan a post.
