URF and the Community
Here's a rant:
There are waaaaaay too many threads about how "boring" and "unfun" URF is now. Ever since they took it down last year people have been SCREAMING at Riot to bring it back. On every announcement page they made, on every video they put up on Youtube, EVERYWHERE you went, "Bring URF back!". When they introduced a new game mode it was always "We want URF not this crap!" and when it happened, many within the community still weren't happy. One week ago these boards were filled with complainers against Zed, Nidalee, and Riven, now it's URF. I don't know how they feel about all of this, but personally I feel bad for Riot because they thought they were doing their players a great service, and instead they "upset" them.
People need to grow up fast and understand that Riot doesn't personally work for them and will not under any circumstance change things just for them by allowing more bans, by disabling certain characters, or whatever other crazy demands people have been making.
I never got to play URF last year but either way, I didn't care for the hype, I didn't care if it came back or not. This year I played it, enjoyed it, and now I'm annoyed with all these crybabies, ragers, and toxic people in-game and on the boards. I can't wait for things to go back to normal in another week or so and you know what, I hope Riot never brings back URF because clearly there aren't enough mature people playing League and things need to be downsized for all the brats who are.
