Lissandra and Kalista
First and foremost, I love Lissandra. Out of the three Freljordian girls, she's my favorite and the one I believe should win. Ashe is too weak and lacks any real motivation. Sejuani is too wild and needs to be contained. These two need to be put in their place; neither of them has the grace and prowess that Lissandra does. Previously, I had noticed that Lissandra hadn't gotten any real attention by Riot. She is one of those champions with only 3 skins available, and although she has the history with Ashe and Sejuani, I almost never heard about her or saw any serious updates to her and her story.
When Gnar was announced and I saw the thing about the ice, I assumed it had to do with Lissandra so I couldn't wait to see what would happened. But of course, nothing did.
Then this THING shows up. Kalista. And rumors go that she's on the hunt for 7 "special" champions, my Lizzy being one of them. (Yeah I called her Lizzy, we're cool like that.) So I do a bit of research on the internet and run into some stories here and there. I come to find that Kalista is indeed on the prowl for Lissandra. I hear her call out directly to Lissandra, calling her Ice Witch from time to time. Lissandra will be the next queen of the Freljord, I'll make sure of it. I will be by her side. She does not scare me, why should I fear that which I devoutly follow, right? But this THING, Kalista strikes fear in me. Her voice, her motivation, her reckless thoughts, she makes me quiver. I don't doubt Lissandra, but I doubt Kalista will only give her a slap on the wrist.
This is not what I wanted, Riot! This is not how I wanted to see more of Lissandra! If anything bad happens to her I will take it upon myself to follow in her footsteps and destroy Runeterra by any means necessary. Even if I have to make sacrifices to Teemo, Runeterra will suffer for what you did. "I will bury the world in ice." /end rant/fears
But seriously guys, I would love it if Lissandra got more attention with the addition of Kalista. I would like to see more skins and more things added to her lore. As amazing as the story of Lissandra, Ashe, and Sejuani is, we need more to go off of. They must have other things going on in their lives, right?
Karthus is the only one who she'd actually interact with directly in the lore, because they're from the same area, and are similar kinds of beings.
Graves is someone who would maybe invoke Kalista to get his own revenge, and she, if she met Graves, would instantly recognise this.
Since she has that interaction with Graves, the interaction with TF is understandable. In the grand scope of things though, his traitorous side is something that wouldn't reach Kalista's ears unless it came from the mouth of Malcom Graves, at least that's how I see it.
Varus is someone who walks a similar road to Kalista, so she's of course going to remark on that.
