I like how Riot...
Is trying to make all roles equally viable, but as a long time player this is what I've realized:
100% chance of winning with 5 equally skilled players.
If top or mid lane loses, you lose 20% of that win chance.
If bot lane loses, you lose 40% of that win chance.
Jungle loses, -20% and their jungle is going to make your other lanes lose making you lose 60% at most.
With the average game time being what, 25-30 minutes, people think games are over at 10-15m, they tilt, you just lost 20% because they've given up. Those epic 1 hour long games are rare today. They weren't back in Season 1-3, people knew they could turn around a game if they could scale up.
Why can't we go back to when one person could carry an entire game? Why could I go 10/0, just for the enemy ADC to kill me over 1 mistake and be caught back up?
I love the game, I still think it's fun, I just think the solo queue that I once loved is practically gone, I can't carry, because no matter how well I can do, other people have too much affect on my chances of carrying due to every role having equal opportunity to carry games.
