Example: Rengar is built with one damage item and then goes off tank. Thoughts? what even is an assassin in this game? Oriana does more burst damage than most assassin with items and is very safe.

I am pretty sure he was referring to single target 1v1, but even if we assume he meant what you're saying, then... well yeah? Of course she should do more damage (overall) with an AoE spell if she hits multiple. That's just obvious. But to really complain about Orianna... the utility mage that has no 1 shot potential till 2-3 damage items and only on a squishy none MR target (ADC) ... that's a bit of a silly complaint.

Yeah you see that gold above Orianna's head? that means fed. You see that Morellos, DEATHCAP, and Liandry's Torment completed? That means 3 items. and You see that no MR squishy 2 lvls below adc that's at not 100% but 70% health when deleted? yeah... all the thing i listed were required for that to happen. So no she's not a problem When you have no MR, are 2 lvls below a midlaner mage, that's has 3 items one of which is a deathcap you will be 100-0 no question asked by mid-late game.

Edge of Daybreak1 votesIt's because going full damage and having no cc is harder to succeed with unless you are incredibly overturned. it's easy for riot to keep nerfing assassins out of play because they arent popular unless they are broken and well if broken you can just nerf it anyway. At a certain point the constant nerfs just make it so you cant function as a damage dealer because if your combo can't 100-0 an adc in a 1v1 you arent gonna do a damn thing once the support drops a 400+ shield on them while you also are exhausted then redemptions gonna hit making your job impossible. This isnt even adding the melee range and lack of cc in most cases.

that's a combined 9800 Gold. to be able to start to 1 shot people. If you're talon, or zed to kill and ADC you just need lvls. And if you've ever played a normal game of league you don't need to me tell you how quickly a zed or talon with little to no items can delete a squish adc bot lane one he hits 6. If you can't snowball before you opponent can get 10k in gold worth of items, then you need to improve on your assassin skills, cause Orianna is meant to played for later on in the mid game and will do damage once she get items. Before that she's easily abused if you play right using an assassin and either killing her or if she's taken barrier/exhaust, you roam and get ahead. If you want to play for the late game ... play a control mage DESIGNED for mid-late game.

assuming you Q-R-W with 115 AP on Orianna at say, lvl 9 with 5 points in Q 2 points in W 1 in E and 1 in R the damage output is going to be (180+115+150) + 115*1.9 Ap ratio + 90 from TLD gives a grand total of 753.5 damage. Considering that most ADCs have approximately 1000 health by lvl 7 which is when you would be lvl 9, and that these caculation don't take into consideration their base 30 MR. I'm going to have to call bullshit on that unless you run ignite and add some autos in for the kill. Hardly 1 shotting. To really Just QW, or QWR requires AT LEAST 2 items minimum with the echo burst to really kill someone all in 1 quick combo.
