Umm what? Did Velkoz get a huge buff or am I missing something?

I've been paired against several Vel'koz mids the past few games and they are STEAM ROLLING. Was this champ buffed? Am I missing something here?

The only buff Vel'Koz got was his Q but that was like 2-3 months ago. His Q AP ratio got increased from 0.6 to 0.8.

Nothing else after. Are the Vel'Kozes you see using glacial augment or dark harvest?

dark harvest. They are doing half my hp with 1 shot early game. To the point that I have to hid under turett and im unable to farm. Then they hit 6 and its even more gg.

Then there's your answer. Dark Harvest. When riot reworked it, it can literally be used from most to all champions now.

Given how Vel'Koz's kit works, it's a very good rune on him.

They did. But it's still effective anyway.

Just the damage, not the threshold for triggering it. If you don't want to trigger their Dark Harvest, then buy sustain items.

Well they did change it to not proc off of other procs, so not just the damage.

I skipped over it. A lot of the really popular champs have a super easy time triggering it unfortunately that I feel like that small change should be regarded more of as a bug fix than a nerf personally. Yeah, I guess it's still technically a nerf, but it's been caught early enough in the lifetime of the rune that I feel like it's more of a bug fix even if it isn't one.

It doesn't seem like it's hard for champions to trigger it at all even with that change so I feel like for the average champion, it's not even a nerf.
