Soraka still OP?

I use to play and enjoy the leisure of what Soraka was way back before the rework. She was rivaled by no one except Janna as a true carry support, empowering her carries and her team via utility. Since the rework I only just now started playing Soraka again (patch 6.19 post nerf). I feel she is still STUPID OP.

She lacks what a lot of what other supports offer but she is just stupid strong. Between her ult and her W she can carry so easily and with so little skill compared to other supports. Her kit after rework is flawed. Outside of hard CD nerfs (which would just ruin her and make her unfun) I can't imagine anyway to balance her kit.

What are your opinions of Soraka post 6.19 nerfs? Is she balanced? Is she OP still? Is she underpowered? How would you fix her if she needs fixing?

No, she's not OP. She's only good against bad players or as a last pick. She is stupid easy to counter for anyone who actually understands how she works.

Just play a hard engage champion that can burst like Blitzcrank or Leona with ignite, combine it with a good ADC matchup like Caitlyn, Draven or Lucian. Or you can always just play Sona, Bard or Nami. Soraka only gives sustain to her lane, Sona, Bard and Nami give sustain and damage to the lane so they will easily out trade the Soraka and make her low on mana and health.

The problem is... There are few main supports out there and most people don't understand what counter pick means.

The nerfs kind of just shifted the entire way soraka plays early, my favourite way of playing soraka before this patch was 3-5 points in Q then start maxing W, it helped her in an aggressive play style but right now your basically forced to play passive no matter what

I really miss the old soraka.. unforunately they had to gut her cause people were abusing her mid...

they could have just made it so that her Q does less damage to minions but noo... lets be creative... (Looks at lulu)

Not quite OP but always broken.

Not op, but still viable. The biggest problem with the nerfs is you now can't take on an aggressive playstyle now because you need at least 3 points in W by mid game. 1 W and maxing Q first won't cut it anymore.

I really hope riot did this nerf because they wanted Soraka to be more passive in laning.

She needs another rework. In the current state she'll always be broken. The nerf crippled her early game a lot, but later on when you maxed it, it's the same shit like before. I don't think they're gonna do some majour reworks with her in a while, but as long as she has that machine gun healer spam on her W, people will complain about her.
