Essence Reaver Increases Marksman Auto-Attack Range
If I recall correctly there was a large debate on trying to make a mid-teir item for
so it had a build path that gave you mana regen early when you needed it most for laning phase. Many agreed that this item

However, it arouse that there would be abuse cases (mainly
) that would benefit too greatly from the item.
So what if it was a marksman-only item and it had an incentive to build over an
or
? If we still want the Essence Reaver passive in the mid-teir and it works through auto's, how about a passive ACTIVE that increases your range so you can auto safely, and increase that range boost in the final item so it offers something really useful come mid-game when other marksmen usually have
.
Also, although +25 range isn't much for the laming phase, here are the new possible abuse cases:
Save for

, the rest are off-meta ad builds, so they wouldn't be seen much, and because the item would be ranged only,

would not benefit from the items Unique's while in their melee form.
Okay... so consider
becomes op with this item, he can spam more q's and he can auto farther to bully you out of lane. Then again, he already builds
for more q's, and he has the lowest basic attack range of all ranged champions in the game (except mini
, until lvl 6)

Only thing i'm unclear on is gold value, there currently isn't any gold:range ratio in the game yet, so whether or not
gets a price increase to be the same as

is up to the balance team.
So, thoughts? Concerns? Would +75 range be too powerful when the item is completed? Would
rise to be top adc with 925 total range during his ult? Would low range marksman be able to trade easier with the likes of
in laming phase? Would
forever have her rockets out and never use pow-pow again?
Is this exactly what marksman need to kite it the current dive-heavy tank meta?
