Recent damage nerfs. Primarily an item problem.

While I would like to say personally and leave it at that, I have seen many other people in the community voice their thoughts on this subject the same way I do. Riot seems to think that much of the damage problems stem from champions and runes which to be fair yes is more or less right. However it doesn't seem like they even consider that it might be items or all the absurd passives champions and players can get one way or another. This patch is headed in the right direction but it's hitting the nail on the edge of the head. It was a very smart thing for Riot to remove DFG since clearly changing that item wasn't working. But fast forward to now where almost anyone can pick up Storm Razor, Duskblade, Trinity Force and pack Electrocute for tons of damage almost as if Riot never learned from their mistake. Even buffing Storm Razor and further adding fuel to the fire rather than buffing the unused crit items such as Statikk Shiv. Granted most if not all of these items have been or will be nerfed thanks to feedback.

Future champions probably will continue to reflect this issue if it'll mean League's big player money makers can continue to look cool by making health bars disappear, and only recently have we even seen anything about Riot understanding that unfun skill-cannon champions just MIGHT be not fun.

Patch 8.16 notes quote Zoe: "Zoe should do less damage if she doesn't land her skillshots."

I am happy however that there are people at Riot that actually give a shit about what the remaining players have to say. Genuinely grateful.
