Suggestion: Mana Regeneration Under Friendly Towers
I play mana dependent champions almost exclusively and often find myself wishing (already, will probably be wishing for this even more if the projected mana changes go through) that friendly towers offered a boost to mana regen while standing under them. I understand mana should be a carefully managed resource, but having to return to base due to being out of mana already feels really tedious mechanically. It's tedious to walk across the map to return to a tower after a recharge, it's tedious when your mana depletes out of sync with your threshold to buy items (requiring more trips or just hanging out at base for half a minute waiting for your team to earn the missing gold for you), it's tedious for a mage to defend their tower when their lack of mana has severely limited their choices, it's tedious for an opponent to just exhaust a mage and then wail on an undefended tower with no opportunity for a kill.
Returning to base to gear up feels fair, because it's a much more significant and permanent power increase than just reloading your magical ammo. Also returning to base to heal feels fair, because if you just cheated death, initiating the return to base deprives both the enemy of a kill and you of having to sit through the death timer.
But returning to base for mana replenishment? If just feels like a chore (particularly when you have plenty of life but not enough gold). Making friendly towers regenerate a small amount of mana would do a lot to keeping a defending mage (or support) in the game until the time is right for a full recharge while also increasing the importance of defending towers even late in the game as a sort of supply line to the enemy's base. Additionally, it would allow the constraint that mana could still be a limited, managed resource throughout prolonged sieges and objective captures.
