Mid Main Wanting to Main ADC

Hi,

Im a plat mid main, I mainly play Ahir and LB... For some reason , I have this great desire to play and main ADC, and when I play it, I remember why I dont play it. The feeling of helplessness is torturing and Idk it just feels so different from Mages but I still want to play it. I mainly play Lucian and I have a couple of questions.

Is it worth learning ADC at this point?
Is there someone out there who's ready to teach some stuff about adc and bot lane in general since I nearly exclusively played mid for a whole season

But to help you out.... The ADC's job is to farm early game and try to prevent the other ADC from farming as well. A successful ADC will pick off kills early and snowball into the late game. Mid game the ADC's job is to kite/peel (to attack while running away) the enemy - and it varies from whichever ADC you have. The ADC's true job is to deal the meat of the damage for the team. The excel in sitting in the backlines and firing hell upon squishy mages and other ADC's while being protected by the front line fighters and tanks.

ADC is freelo to be honest. But Lucian kinda sucks in the tank meta. He doesn't have enough damage to kill tanks. Try Jinx or Kog Maw, but for someone who plays easy champs like Ahri and Leblanc with overloaded mobility it might take some time to learn those.
