Bounty system punishes you for being better from your enemies?

It is not ok to be 60 CS up from your enemy jungler, 2 levels up from your enemy jungler and 4/0/2 while your enemy jungler is 0/5/0 , getting counter jungled and then a stupid roam from one of your enemy's laners roams with your enemy jungler and kills you for 1000 gold.. So, i got punished for having more map pressure and better routing? Please, either fix that or remove it completely, i understand you implemented it as a reason for players to not give up when things go bad, buf at this point is punishing the better players

EXACTLY MY THOUGHTS!! Look at the game of FNC - G2 yesterday. 11-1 for FNC and 1 fight and G2 was back in the game thanks to shutdowns. I think this is absolute BS that a team that plays terribly for the first 15-20mins gets a chance to comeback like that. I stopped playing, wont play until they fix that.

It's literally a system that rewards you for the work someone else did. Especially considering enemies get rewarded, more ass backwards than communism. One of the obvious points here is the system leaves foul taste in a lot of people's mouths, you see commonly in forums "not playing until fixed."

Best part is it doesn't even do what it's supposed to. Most games the fed player on each team starts running in circles by mid game collecting bounties, they don't even go to the opposing players that are behind. So the one thing they supposed to do, utterly fail at. When Udyr gets ahead in jungle is current season for example, game over. Less jg xp to catch up, he farms all my team bounties, when me and team finally kill him someone else gets bounty because in already behind and low damage. It doesn't end up changing the game outcome, just snowballing it further out of my reach.

Bounty system punishes you for giving up a kill when you have more gold. Bounties don’t mean anything if you don’t die.

Welcome to riot games making the game shittier for good players and better for bad players for 4 years now.

Instead of fixing their terrible gameplay they come up with this bounty shit. They fucked up the game pace terribly. Powercrept the shit out of the game and as a means to "fix" it they come up with turret plating and bounty. Hilarious. Obviously noone notices how this just pumps even more gold into the games economy and basically nothing changes about the pace of the game it just doesn't feel as bad because theoretically there is the chance to come back with getting bounties, in reality land tho most of the times herald, dragons and turrets taken as in the last two years determines you already lost at that point. Early game champs are entirely worthless now because the risk of playing them especially due to bounties is not worth it when you can play vlad or vayne and be "bad" for six levels and sometimes even outright beating everyone in lane because reasons.

And if you or the enemy actually comes back because of bounty it is the absolute worst feeling in the world. There is no reason why i should play absolutely perfect for 15-20 mins and somehow the enemy gets 1-2k gold bounty off of someone and just wins the game because reasons. Same shitty design as kassadin or vayne basically autowinning the game if they didn't lose it in 25 mins and some idiots here on the boards will come "duuh you are just bad you could have ended game duuh". So my effort is playing the lane, being mechanically proficient, rotating, roaming, going for objectives but i couldnt end before you got two items (which is now absolute lategame apparently) so i auto lose because your champion cannot be dealt with anymore. Ya great gameplay. Can we go back to lesser extremes? Like actual clear early, mid and lategame? Actual different strategies to win a game? Not the "riot way of how to win a game"? I don't really like when devs decide how the game should be played. I don't like that you cannot win games without baron anymore. I don't like how much the game is controlled by one person (the jungler) because dragons are so ridiculously overpowered especially infernal. Like do some people realize that if the enemy RNGs an infernal they just got like 3k gold in stats? Just like that one player got his team 3k gold out of the blue.

Also has anybody thought about that you could atleast roam and keep your teammates from feeding? Yeah cannot do that anymore because this forced prolonging of the laning phase (turret plating) gurantees my enemy a free kill gold because i roamed. Bad players once again will tell you that there needs to be a trade off for roaming and ooh and what not. Truth is one does what he has to do pushes lane in and collects free gold. While i make the active decision to leave lane, sacrifice gold/xp and lane advantage to MAYBE help my teammate on another lane/the jungle. That in itself is already risky and comes at a loss by default that is only outweighed if my gank/roam is succesful. Just running down the lane with demolish and collecting free gold has nothing of that and THAT is why turret plating is such terrible design. It's actually insane how shitty riot keeps making this game. Taking out interaction, active decision making, trade offs and all to bandaid fix their shitty design decisions earlier. No rolling back, no critical thinking. We just keep taking out all means of you being able to win a game by yourself. Idk if this is done on purpose i guess so. Bad players feel good with these changes as proven by them defending it on every occasion.

Bounty system allows you to actually make a comeback.

Gold from bounties is never as high as gold gained by the person with the bounty. It's like a 3:1 ratio or something.

Your bounty is never more than your actual advantage so you aren't punished for an advantage. Your advantage is just more tentative.

Suppose there are two "carries" that plays in two different style:

  1. I just want to kill. I don't give a ** for map pressure or helping my team. I would stay at enemy jg 24/7 and I only want kill. If I die once, that is fine, I will get kill back very soon since all I practiced is to kill and to dual.

  2. I often gets a lot of kills but I'm not really focusing on killing. Instead I present map pressure and help my team whenever possible. I might be slightly worse than player one in a pure 1-1 dual but I'm 1000% better as a team player.

Now with this system player 2 lose to player 1 100% of the time. It actually promotes toxic play style. Team player style is purely negative because helping your team member getting more farm = helping your opponent getting more shutdown gold.
