Give Gangplank Silver Serpents per second in URF!
Gangplank REALLY struggles on URF. I played a game of URF with him on PBE and I noticed that he isn't gaining Silver Serpents quickly... at all. It took me 20 minutes to get my first upgrade to my ult, and at that time, the game was essentially over. It could just be me who's really bad at URF Gangplank, but I still see this as an issue, because...
In ARAM, you get Silver Serpents passively, without question. It makes sense, because there's only one lane and it's pretty hard to last-hit when you have 4 other teammates pushing the only lane on the map.
I don't understand why this feature isn't being implemented in ARURF. In the majority of the games, you're gonna be stuck being harassed constantly by the opposing team, and if you're not being harassed, you're likely going to harass them constantly. I don't know what kind of URF you're playing, but this is usually the case.
Having to focus on placing out barrels (which tick down at the same rates as in normal Summoners Rift) gives them a pretty big timespan on taking down your barrels. You might not even be able to get your barrels off due to constant harass by the enemy team. This leaves you to spam your Q to get silver serpents, which is a reliable way to get serpents and the cooldown is very short, but the satisfaction of killing a full minion wave with a barrel is more "fulfilling", and the speed of farming silver serpents would be much quicker with barrels.
My suggestion is to implement a passive system that gives Gangplank a few silver serpents every few seconds, similarily, if not identical, to what he's given on ARAM. Upgrading your ult for the first time after 20 minutes is a VERY long time to wait, in a gamemode that is supposed to be fast-paced (and for fun). Most games are over by 20 minutes, anyway. It would make more sense if his ult was fully upgraded by 20 minutes (which I still feel is pretty long, but I'll leave that up to you)
TL;DR Gangplank struggles with ult upgrades in URF. Give him silver serpents every few seconds.
