@Riot - Did you buff Bard because of Xayah?

So for you guys who don't know, Bard got a really nice buff today and as a Bard main I'm exstatic. Basically, he gets more faster.

-Can get his wave clear aoe cone attack at only 15 meeps instead of 25! -Gets more damage for every 5 meeps instead of 10 -Can have 9!!!! NINE at a time!

I played a game has him (in mid of course where I always play him) and the difference is insane. He feels so much stronger now. Basically feels more like hes a real midlaner instead of me just trying to make him work in midlane.

But now to the real question, was this because of Xayah?

If you read Xayah's moves she works similar to Bard with her feathers. If she picks them up, she can use them as a basic attack which also does damage to those behind (like Bard's meeps with the cone upgrade). However unlike Bard she could store 5 instead of 4 (Bard's old max).

Now if anyone has played Bard, they know that without those meeps he doesn't really hit hard at all (all he has is his Q besides his meeps) - did the same thing come up with Xayah? Did you feel bad for Bard because she was also lacking aswell when she couldn't get a steady flow of feathers?

The reason I ask this is because the last time they felt like buffing Bard, all they buffed was his movement speed by a tiny bit when he collects a meep <_<. Nothing as substantial as this and people have been mocking Bard for being weak since he came out o_O.
