Why does every midlane assassin get to throw things all laning phase?

Katarina You will have knives thrown at you, and if she gets to boop you afterwards, you'll take huge damage. Leblanc Hey look, there's a shiny on your head. I'm gonna go touch it. Akali You've been marked for "out-trade". Zed I don't think you need an explanation. Talon Throws out a good ol' cone of blades. Ekko The most painful frisbee you've ever seen. Kassadin Probably the most balanced of all the spammers, but still annoying.

Assassins are supposed to have a rough laning phase in exchange for great power. But when I keep taking blade after blade, it makes me wonder how rough the laning phase is. Especially when 3 of them do not use mana, meaning they will out-sustain me eventually. Every time one of these champs is over-tuned, their ban-rate skyrockets(Never forget Kass). It really seems like their laning phase is unaffected at all.

And you know what? The one assassin midlane who has a REALLY hard laning phase, doesn't get to throw things like a sponge.

Fizz

I'm not trying to defend Fizz for being "Fun to go against", but he's a LOT less stressful than any others on this list. Why does every other assassin get a freebie farm skill in lane? I'm okay with a skill that helps them farm, but they shouldn't get to spam it from their turret so they can't be touched. It really upsets me when I say I wish there were more assassins like Fizz. I know the assassin rework is soon, and I'm excited to see how riot goes about it. However, at the same time, I really want what defines an assassin to be fixed. Assassins should have a hard time mid, and all of these "Traditional" assassins just get a free-farm skill to compensate.

come back when you've laned with Akali Kassadin Talon Katarina against a decent ranged midlaner who actually punishes you for csing.

you're in an elo where you simply don't get punished for picking weak laning phase assassins.
