So I've been spamming Taric in solo queue, and my god, he is much fun at the moment. That being said, the fact that his bravado empowered attacks reset his Q allows him to aoe heal faster than Soraka. And was the extra damage on his E really necessary? I'm not going to complain about the freelo, but we will definitely be seeing Taric in LCS, and he is definitely a little over-tuned at the moment.
You're forgetting that his Q still has a super high cost attached to it. Even with mana items, spamming it will oom you faster than you can look. I went for a mana heavy build with tear for fun recently and despite almost 2.5k mana and the tear refund I couldn't keep it up in a teamfight.
He's finally GOOD, but overtuned? I have to see and play him more to be able to say that.
He is not over tuned.... far from that.
He is surprisingly powerful 1v1, but his lack of mobility compensates imo
he's even better if you link to a mobile ally to get your e off from a distance
Eh i feel like taric just shines more whenever he is even just in a good spot b/c his kit is such a good support kit, heals, shields, a stun and an ult that can have as much impact on a skirmish or teamfight as any other in the game, but yes if he's decently strong we probably will see him in the lcs.
Just because he can heal doesn't mean he is a better healer.
Unlike Soraka, he has to store charges.
20% AP + 1% hp at one charge vs 200 + 60% AP.
He's the better healer?
AND NO.
He cannot heal faster. He has 3 CD. Soraka has 2 CD at Max.
His passive doesn't make him faster considering his abilities have huge CD.
And he has to use one to add a stack and subtract a CD. He has to wait 13 seconds for a stack at the least.
Meanwhile, Soraka would have healed...
