Does matchmaking rig the games?

Hi guys, I'm probably not the only one that has made a topic about this. Lately I've gone on an inexplicable streak of wins. In the past 29 matches I've won 23. Of the 6 that I lost, 4 of them were because of my connection issues. I know I'm not playing THAT well so I'm a bit puzzled as to why I keep getting placed on winning teams. Other times it feels like the matches are rigged against me when I go on tilt the other way. Anyone have an explanation for this phenomenon?

Riot Matchmaking is broken. It considers only wins and losses in ELO. It looks for players with similar amounts of wins and losses and matches them together. If you get lucky and get great teams that result in a lot of wins, you will have higher ELO. Thus, if someone who is a complete imbecile is always placed on great teams and has good ELO. THEN is placed with you...you're in for a frustrating game. And so is anyone who is matched on the same team with him. Consider yourself lucky.
