Garen Buffs are INSANE! 98-99% Tenacity!

So i saw a post complaining about how garen needs other buffs besides number buffs. I noticed that his (W) Got buffed from 60% -> 85% Tenacity..

Now if we do some math here,

With Passive, Mercs, Steraks, Consumable, and unflinching rune you get this 1-(1-.85)(1-.30)(1-.30)(1-.25)(1-.15) = 0.95314375 AKA 95% Tenacity

But wait, we can do more. If we run Legend with Tenacity bonus PLUS Cleanse, we Get 20%+ and 65%+

1-(1-.85)(1-.30)(1-.30)(1-.25)(1-.15)(1-.65)(1-.20) = 0.98688025 Round it up 99% Tenacity...

99% Tenacity, This uses up 2 Slots, Which means you can be an unstoppable train building Bruiser, full crit, etc

Even without running Cleanse and Legend Tenacity, you still get 95% which is more than enough and probably better in terms of actually winning the game.

This is absolutely insane

stacking tenacity like that is a troll build after a certain point.

why would you sacrifice a rune slot to get an extra 3% to 4%?

the most tenacity you should probably stack in any realistic scenario, is item 2138 item 3053 and either another 30% off item 3111 or legend tenacity if youre not going mercs.

otherwise youre taking a rune for less than 10% tenacity instead of stuff like celerity, transcendence and other runes you could have in its place that would get you much, much more power.

It doesn't really matter since all the good supports have knockups/knockbacks.

Oh boy, the garen mains might be able to advance maybe another division beyond where they otherwise could before ultimately still getting kited to death.

He's still a rolling stat stick and little else. Adding a shit ton of numbers to a stat stick just makes a bigger stat stick.
