Can Fervor Of Battle Be Brought Back?

Does anyone actually think conqueror is better designed than fervor of battle? Fervor was healthier for the game now everyone is running around with true damage 2 shotting people. Also conqueror has made some champions super toxic (jax). Anyway was fervor every this toxic to play against? Also don't say "fervor was not interactive. Legit almost every single rune in the game is "none interactive". Also fervor was good on top lane fighters as well as ADCS.

TLDR: Replace conq with fervor of battle.

Fervor was fun

Fervor actually encouraged and rewarded long fights while conq is just as effective in burst trades as it is in long trades. It's easily the most efficient rune in the game, by far. The only thing keeping ADCs from being a terror of a role is the fact that conq is only extended for melee champions.

My favorite thing to do was cheese with fervor + e at level 1 on Jax, and it just doesn't feel the same with conq..

yeah but then Riot would actually need to fix the issue with tanks

If Conqueror was removed, it is going to hurt because if tanks get strong again then we won't be able to deal with them. If it was replaced by Fervor then we could make it so that the max AD is lowered to like 54 or something and give it BONUS armor penetration. That way it functions exactly the same as old Fervor, which we want, and it is still good against tanks, but won't allow us to murder squishies with true damage.

When Fervor was around these champions actually felt somewhat fair to fight: Riven Yasuo Tryndamere MasterYi Now they just kinda 2 hit you if they even get a little bit ahead. Thanks Conqueror!

Combine fervor and conqueror, easy.

Half the damage fervor used to do, but it does true damage instead of physical. Not as good early game or vs squishies as old fervor, but better late game and vs tanks.

IDK adding flat AD just for auto attacking is pretty damn strong, I think the true damage after 4 attacks is quite a bit easier to manage, especially since it only procs against champion attacks. Giving free AD (which affects spells as well as autos) does not sound fun

I'd be in favor of bringing back Fervor of Battle if the numbers were tuned a bit; say 48 max AD rather than 64 at max stacks. In all honesty, Conquerer is really good on champions who utilize it well (Jax, Tryndamere, Yasuo) and just meh on champions who kinda use it (on all the other champions really.) Fervor could be used on a large number of champions from top & bottom lane, which makes it a viable option. If they implement Fervor, they would most likely remove Conquerer since their similar and Lethal Tempo and Press The Attack wouldn't be used at all since they're just inferior to Fervor. I liked Fervor, we all liked Fervor, but I don't see it coming back in the near future my friend.

Bruh... nostalgia hurts... bring it back please. With old icon and everything as before

Rikü11/25/2018, 4:33:43 PM1 votes

Or if you don't want to replace it just add it as a keystone. Adcs have 3 keystones, tanks have 3 as well and assassins have 2. Why bruisers can only have 1?

I dont think fervor of battle is better. Sure there's no true damage, but you hit much harder with that.

Granted, it made A LOT more champions viable - but on the other hand, it also lets champions like Jax build much less offensive items and still hit super hard.

It makes for more damage late game but less damage early game. Which is exactly what the community wants, and the exact opposite of what Riot wants.
