How Would you feel about changing black cleaver or reverting it?

Hello i think its no surprise to anyone that black cleaver has kinda fallen out of favor as a item since the build path on the item isn't the best however once the item is complete its still a very nice item. The original reason the item was changed to 400 health, 40 ad and the build path was changed was because Lucian built it (I believe) However now with fervor being gone and everyone dosent have as much AD would it be possible to revert it or maybe even do some changes to it? Example 50 AD> 250 or 300 Health and maybe make it 3100? The item was prob a bit strong in other seasons however this season i dont think it would be a problem. Also what i find very interesting is most champs don't even built it anymore Garen/Darius have moved on the trinity as it just a better item all around.

Let me know if you support this and please comment you're thoughts.

The Rage passive gives 20 MS in standard 1v1 scenarios. Trinity Force gives +5% MS constantly.

On the average bruiser/juggernaut with tier 2 boots, Trinity Force will passively grant almost as much MS as Black Cleaver does with Rage. This is before factoring in that Trinity Force itself ALSO has Rage (albeit the 'only on basic attacks' version).

Trinity and BC also share the same 20% CDR and in terms of durability are only separated by a Ruby Crystal's worth of HP.

why not just revert black cleaver, and make it Melee only? ADC's have enough itemization as is.

Yeah, as a Darius and Garen main I never build this item unless im literally 0/5 with no gold or the enemy has 4 melee champs that build armour

the previous recipe made the item too good on adc.

the higher cost in health is exactly what they dont like, but fine for juggers. the reason it fell out of favour was the nerf to the armor shred passive, and not the recipe change.

if anything, if they want to buff it, they should even put 50 more health on it.

Make the armor reduction a 350 range aura, you know, like Abyssal Mask.

Ranged champions can't apply it from half a lane away, Urgot still gets to use it.

What...where did you get that from? Every juggernaut and fighter builds BC most of the time. Idk what your data is based on.

Fiora Riven Jayce Talon Zed were other champs other than Lucian that benefit from the old item 3133 item 3044 recipe. Since alone had very versatile build paths depending on what team comps they were facing.

why is it an issue that lucian built it? adcs used to build black cleaver all the time back in the day.
