Idea for a new Mordekaiser kit.
Hello all. Long time Morde Main here. I've been bouncing around a couple of ideas for a Morde rework and I figured I would post one of them here. Once I have the other one fleshed out a little better, I will post it. Anyway, here we go.
Passive: Iron Man
Mordekaiser has mana that decays at a rate of x/sec. And is always lost before health.
(Morde still has health costs on his abilities, the idea is for this to push him back to an AP bruiser)
Q: Mace of Spades
Mordekaiser leaps to a target location smashing Nightfall into the ground dealing damage in an area. Targets in the center of the area take 50% extra damage.
Each champion or monster hit restores 10% of Morde's maximum mana. Each Minion hit restores 1% of his maximum mana.
(This leap cannot be interrupted, but doesn't make him immune to CC. After he finishes the leap, the effects will occur as normal.)
W: Creeping Death
Mordekaiser selects a target enemy and shrouds he and the target in a necrotic metal storm. Stealing X% of the targets Armor and Magic resistance. Deals damage that increases over time and deals more damage the closer Mordekaiser is to his target.
Each application of damage to champions and monsters restores 5% of Morde's maximum mana. Minions restore 1%.
(The idea behind this is to give Morde better dueling potential, without being too bursty up front. If the enemy kites properly or CC's him long enough to escape, the ability does little to no damage.)
E: Harvester of Sorrow
Mordekaiser summons black mist in a cone dealing magic damage to all targets hit.
Each champion or monster hit restores 15% maximum shield. Minions restore 1%.
(Left this one largely untouched on purpose)
R: Children of the Grave
Mordekaiser marks a target for death. While marked for death, they take X% increased damage from all sources, and any damage done by Mordekaiser restores X% Health and Mana.
(If the target dies while marked, Mordekaiser enslaves their soul as usual)
Numbers of course will need some readjustment, I didn't attempt to balance the kit, I just wanted to have the effects in place. Any feedback would be appreciated! Thanks for reading.
