Riot ive played some matches as katarina recently and her shunpo seems like a quick dush and not as blink besides that some enemy spells such as thresh q blitz q amumu q morgana q even if you avoid them the last second you still get hooked and snared, is there any upcoming plan for this?.
Your complaint is due to the cast time. Not the animation.
Shumpo has a .25 second cast time. Which is completely needed due to how many dashes she gets. It's an artificial curb to how much she can dash. (max with the cast time and CDR reset I think like 2-3 times a second, unless she is killing people, then is a Max of four) but it's to allow fast reaction times an ability to register she is moving before she has already moved again.
