Quick Fixes to Yasuo and Fiddlesticks
A support main, and a player since season 5, bot lane has become thoroughly unenjoyable for me with the new meta, specifically because, aside from all the bruiser ADCs, Fiddlesticks and Yasuo. Having some of my higher elo and Yaasuo main friends give me some feedback, I think I've come up with the perfect fixes to get these champions the hell out of bot lane, while still retaining their strengths.
Yasuo
According to my friend who is a Gold 5 Yasuo main, part of the reason for his strength in the bot lane is two reasons, his passive, and his windwall, allowing Yasuo to skirt by without ever having to worry truly worry about damage. This combined with his mobility, makes him practically untouchable. My solution is quick and easy, without it being an outright nerf.

With his windwall, you could either A) Lower the duration, or B) Make it so it can only absorb a certain number of projectiles before it dissipates.
-
Increase how much build up it takes to get his passive shield, by a moderate amount.
Part of the reason for Yasuo's strength is that once he put up the windwall, he can essentially disregard the enemy laner's existence, allowing him to him farm without any worry of being poked. While yes, until he unlocks Windwall it is quite easy to poke him down, it only takes about 5 minutes in until he has reached level 3. Another thing is that with windwall, he can completely block a mage's combo, making them worthless until all their abilities come off of cooldown. Making it where windwall can only absorb a number of projectiles before it disappears puts more pressure on Yasuo players to use it wisely, instead of just throwing it up whenever they farm, knowing it has a long duration.
With any decent player in constant movement, it doesn't take long for Yasuo to build up his shield. That combined with his windwall makes him nigh untouchable. Just coming back from fountain to lane is enough to build up the shield. He already has decent defense with his windwall, but with his passive shield, he basically has an insurance policy without ever having to pay.
Fiddlesticks
It was a bit harder to get any good advice on him, consdering he's a more niche champion, but after playing him a few times myself, I somehow got him like 3 times in a row in ARAM, lmao, I think I found the issues. Fiddlesticks, to pit it plainly, lacks any skill, and all his basic abilities are point and clicks, with incredibly short cooldowns. The only skillful thing about him is his R, which even then is incredibly straightfoward and easy to get the hang of. The only thing a Fiddlesticks ever has to truly care about is timing, but with his sustain, that isn't much an issue. While I'd suggest just giving him an outright rework, these are more quick fixes to delay having to rework him.
-
Longer cooldowns on all his abilities.
-
Lower the heal amount on his W.
-
Have his E only silence the first enemy champion hit.
With all his abilities on such short cooldown, you can quite literally cast his W right after casting it without any CDR, in lane he will never ever have to worry about sustain as long as his ADC doesn't care about losing a minion to him every now and then. This combined with the fact that E will silence every enemy champion it hits, allows him to make an entire enemy useless for over an entire second, which is A LOT of time in League. His only real weakness is lack of mobility, but with the fear AND the silence, you might as well try chasing a Singed or a Janna. With the changes I suggested, it makes him have to prioritize who he decides to E in a teamfight rather than just using E and knowing every enemy will be silenced, and with his longer cooldowns make him think twice about using W on a minion instead of saving it for a fight.
, nerf his shield so it doesn't act like a
against damage at all point in the game, and boom
is balanced
