We should be allowed to disable in-game chat or at least rebind the chat key.

Players should have an option to completely disable the in-game chat feature or to rebind their chat key. This would help reduce a lot of toxicity from players who don't want to have to use chat because it makes them angry and provokes a negative response from them. Smart Pings are a good option for communication outside of chat and because of the jungle timers you don't need to time jungle camps as much in chat. It would be nice if a few more Smart Pings were also added into the game.

I think this is something they generally want to avoid though I must say I do find myself muting all and myself since I myself am pretty toxic as well honestly. Not all the time because I don't have bad games all the time but when an ally barks at me or does some really stupid stuff in my lane (most likely feed the enemy and give double buffs, typical jungler gank amirite?) I'll go full toxic mode. And it takes some real willpower for toxic people like me to not be toxic in such a scenario. That's something that's kinda out of Riot's hands but if they could do something to help em out that'd be great.
