I despise the nexus blitz

Am I the only one ? It's the incarnation of everything I have hated about this game for the past 2-3 years. Dmg is insane, you don't understand wtf is going on, snowballing is through the fking roof, games litteraly cannot last more than 20 mins and some champions are completly useless. It's always fight, fight, fight, fight, there is no strats or farming or lvling. It's dominion with lanes. It even feels like URF at times, that's not a good thing.

Is this what you want League to become Riot ? Is this what you have been working towards for the past years ? Thank you, I guess, for FINALLY confirming what everyone has been saying for so long. You want a casual fk fest that last MAXIMUM 20 mins.

Is this what you want the game to be ? I'm just gonna leave ASAP if that's the case. You ar enot overwatch, stop trying to be overwatch with 10mins game.

dominion had a lot of strategy and wasn't just about fighting

nexus blitz is pretty fun, get into a game and fuck around for 10 minutes without having to focus on anything is pretty cool, something that should've always been in the game. you can look at it as in "this is catering towards the flithy fukin casuals fuk dis gaem becoming more casual" or you can look at it as "this is a good way for people to let off steam and potentially make rift more competitive since there is a separate mode for casuals now".

Alot of people on gameplay will defend it but if you look into other forums and threads it's actually getting quite a lit f negative feedback.

I like nexus blitz a lot because it's the incarnation of everything i love about this game for the past 2-3 years. Dmg is insane, you're getting 5 kills per minute literally lasts like 20 minutes maximum and every champion could be used and is pretty fun. It's always fight, fight, fight, fight, there are a lot of new strats you can try out and all the gold is shared. It's completely different from dominion. It even feels like URF and that's a really good thing.

That is what the game mode is supposed to be. It's supposed to be as "fiesta" as possible. It's not for everyone.

It's meant to be snowbally, it's a short game mode. Sometimes I don't feel like sitting through 30 mins (20 mins of waiting for surrender to pass when it's 10/27) of a full game when it was already over at 10 minutes in. I play this when I don't feel like dealing with other stuff but just fighting. People play this mode to fight and kill people, not for LP or winning. When I lose, if I killed many people, I'm still happy. The snowbally playstyle that actually forces the game to end is a nice change for once.

No, it's not. Here's the description of the game mode:

Nexus Blitz is a fast-paced (~15 minutes) experimental mode designed for those of you seeking fresh ways to play League and low-pressure fun. It emphasizes exciting and surprising moments over intense competition, while still rewarding the skills you've learned from other League modes, like Summoner’s Rift.

You should try to play to win, but my personal take on the game mode is that it's a hybrid between the mentality of ARAM along with watered down gameplay of Summoner's Rift. Judging the tone of your post, I would recommend sticking to normal games. You even mentioned that it's a "casual fk fest" and that's really what the game mode is designed to be.

It's important to note it's a GAME MODE, it's not an experiment designed to influence regular Summoner's Rift games. It's an experiment to improve and refine Nexus Blitz as another way to play league (like how ARAM is). It's OK not to like it; it's weird to think that this game mode reflects what they want to do with the actual classic game.

i agree with you, i can't bring myself to like the Nexus Blitz game mode, totally despise it. if i were to give reasons there would be too many but mainly because i find all the senseless forced action boring as fk, if i liked that i'd be playing fortnite/battlerite or some similar stuff, but it's not my case.

But I'm thinking, because now they have Nexus Blitz for those people, they'll be able to seperate the two play experiences. Maybe slip some health back onto towers and whatnot.
