Displaying net gold on the scoreboard in game
I noticed that on the scoreboard in a League of Legends game never shows the total amount of gold earned for each person and the total gold for each team. Other games like Smite show the net gold in game as well as on the results screen, so why is there no such function to view gold in game in League? If people could find out how much gold they have, their teammates and enemies have, and the total gold on each team, then people could figure out what they should buy or do to make up the gold difference or get ahead, and live gold displays would help people determine better the efficiency of their farming and help them decide whether they should farm minions to get the amount of gold they need or kill enemy champions or farm in jungle. This is the current League scoreboard: http://i.imgur.com/53T8668.png. Notice how it shows kda, summoner names and spells, champions, and cs, but not net gold. In comparison the Smite scoreboard in game shows net gold: http://i.imgur.com/2AXPGcv.png. The gold is listed for each person in game and the total gold for each team. League should implement this in their in game scoreboard so people can keep track of their gold in relation to others and bring more clarity to the in game HUD.
