Disappointed with Versus event rewards, please grant border even without skins

Hi there, just sharing some thoughts.

I'm really glad riot did an event like this with rewards to earn, and I hope they do more in the future.

That being said, I was really bummed to find out only after I'd unlocked my Dawnbringer Riven border that it is ONLY active when you own & use the skin.

There is a sentence that says this on the FAQ page which I overlooked, but it's not worded very well or made blatant that you don't have a border without using the new skins. I feel that if they people to play together, make friends, and work on an event like this, there should be rewards without coercing you into buying something after you've put some time and effort in.

I know, you can get those orbs and get some keys/skins, and I that's what I WOULD have done if I'd realized that the border is dependent on buying a skin. But, I really hope riot makes this border available for everyone who unlocked it, when they play as any character, because it does look very cool, and limited cosmetics like this add value and prestige to other things in the game, and those that have yet to come out.

I'm not whining, just trying to provide constructive feedback. I feel like I wasted my time, and got friends to join in too, and now feel guilty for wasting theirs as well.
