Do displacement abilities break it? e.i. Cho'gath's Q or Thresh's hook, or do they go through him?

Sorry, since English isn't my first language, I don't understand what "indefinite stealth" is.

Yes it does. If he gets displaced by knock ups or Thresh hooks he will get revealed. Silences also reveal him because invisibility is treated as an ongoing ability.

Invisibility doesn't mean Transparency or Stasis ( item 3157 ). It just means you can't see them.

EDIT: It depends on the ability I guess because one counter example is Akali's Twilight Shroud. Dealing damage to her doesn't reveal her, neither do silences or hard CC (knock-ups). Thresh hooks, Blitz hooks and Nautilus hooks will reveal. The only way you can see her is if she's outside of the shroud or if she's attacking you.
