its completly stupid tbh. it sets you back a lot (by 2-4 levels) and forces you to constantly invade your enemy jungler and take his camps if you want a chance to actually be "caught up" i dont understand WHY they did this to the jungle. claiming that the jungler is too ahead of the solo laners early game to me is completly false, all of my jungle games i have played, when i am 3, the mid and top are always lvl 3-4. NOW, when im lvl 3, they are lvl 5, when im 6, they are 9, when i am 12, they are 16. you might as well just walk into lane and take all of your allies CS just to stay caught up. Hell, 2 melee minions has equal gold to one camp, hell 3 melee minions is worth more gold than a single camp early game, and a entire minion wave (cannon included) is 356 EXP which now, is about equal to the red buff, wolves, river crab, AND blue buff. So unless you constantly invade and kill your enemy jungler and get mad fed early game, you will always fall behind and feed and you wont be able to assist your laners in ganks because you are so under leveled. that's just my opinion.
also, shyvana with 1 daggar can do drake at lvl 3 depending on the drake (she struggles a bit with ocean and cloud)
A simpler thing would have been to give the lane minions slightly more bonus exp at the first 5 minutes of the game so they "dont fall behind" that way jungle doesnt fall behind, and the laners can get a good amount of exp so they arent "too low of a level compared to the jungler"
I love the new jungle changes. I no longer have to worry about early feed fests due to all my dumbass team mates dying to early ganks. As something of a jungle main myself, I've adapted pretty much by the 3rd game. I have no problems with the changes as a jungler.
but that doesn't stop the laner from getting the kills, and if your ally feeds, the jungler will have a very hard time trying to gank because now they are VERY under leveled and will die easily to the enemy. Yes, it stos early ganks, but if the enemy laner gets an advantage or early kills, that stacks up for the jungler, and then its extremly difficult for the jungler to help because now they are very far behind because now the laner has a level advantage ahead of the jungler at all times(if im 3, they are 4 or 5 for example, assuming they got to lane on time and got at least 80% of the minions as fast as possible) on top of the lack of EXP gain from the jg. that's just my opnion
eh its good that youve already adapted. im still struggling and feeding my ass off on some of my best junglers because of this stupid idea
Not even two hours ago I hard carried a game as jungle Nocturne. I had zero problems keeping up in levels. You have to adapt. You can't just gank gank gank anymore. Farm up more and gank after you've completed a couple clears. Your laners won't feed as much as before due to lower jungle pressure and you can probably get something when you do decide to come out of the jungle.
dude that's what ive been doing WAY before this patch came out i farm more than i gank, and even then my whole team feeds including me. So what am i suposed to do? just walk into lane and take all their CS? im always 2-4 levels behind. i dont constantly gank. i never was. and ive been litterally doing just exactly as you said. but every game the jungler is like 9/4 by 15 minutes and im 1/5 and ive done just exactly that. wtf am i doing wrong im getting sick of this patch cuz im always constantly behind in levels no matter what and i cant help my lanes and i cant get kills because im always so under leveled because of the lack of EXP im getting, and if i try to invade, i die 100% of the time as well it'd be just easier to sit in lane and soak up the exp to get caught up, which is a stupid ass thing, but it seems like that's the only way i can get caught up in EXP...
