"We decided to find a healthy home for Leona as a squishy ranged solo lane carry. We also wanted to emphasize her identity and connexion between her lore and her kit"

Passive : Leona's Sword has became really big. Her auto-attack range is increased to 500. However, the sword is so big that allies can't get close to Leona without losing (25 - 1x level) % of their health as true damage.

We thought that Leona was too strong as a duo lane and decided to pigeonhole her into being a solo carry. Also, %HEALTH TRUE DAMAGE ! You guys love that right ?

Q Passive : Leona randomly gains crit chance based on stars alignement. Q Second passive : We didn't really know what to put here but we like double passives so let's throw some movement speed when Leona auto attacks the same target 3 times. You guys love 3 AA stacks effects right ? Q Active : Leona spins her sword around, dealing a mix of physical, magical, and true damage. This attacks applies a poison that slows the enemies hit and gives Leona movement speed when moving away from them.

This skill is so complicated we hope no one ever understands what it does. Because we never did. Who designed this champion already ? He has left Rito ? Ho... Well we'll never know I guess ! I remember someone saying %health true damage were healthy... Or was it the contrary ? Huh. ANYWAY #LCSBIGPLAYS GUYS !

W : Leona throws her shield. On the ground. She then gains a ton of AD and does %health magic damage on hit. She also starts wearing sunglasses !

This really fits her personality and lore as a protector. Did I mention we LOVE %health damage ? They're so funny lol.

E : Someone spilled coffee and cocaine on this skill description so we just have to guess what it was. Let's say... some mobility and CC attached to it ? Why not a blink with a silence ? Ho wait, we hate silences. Lol #LCSBIGPLAYS. Let's put a Knock-up instead. KNOCK UPS ARE COOL, ALSO YASUO ULTIMATE INTERACTION YEAH !!!!

R : Leona summons darkness on the map. Basically this is Nocturne ultimate but instead of a dash, all enemies are feared for 2.2 + 1.05 x level seconds.

We feel we really nailed it ! This rework keeps Leona identity while including some healthy mechanics. This new kit really fits her character as a Sun Knightish Protector thingy.

Are you a Leona main ? We WANT to hear your feedback here so we can totally ignore it later and proceed with this rework anyway ! Also, f*ck you.

Vi is known for being a massive in your face bully of a champion who punches things really hard.

So we are now reworking her to shoot lasers from her gauntlets. Btw she is now an AP mage.

Range 550 >> 100. She now uses dual daggers and a huge sword.

Passive: Night Hunter Vayne gains 5 movespeed while moving towards enemy champions. Every 5 minutes in-game, day and night switch. During the night this bonus is increased 10 times and Vayne's attacks ignore 50% armor. Context: "We at Riot love windows of power. So we are going to make Vayne's passive useless 50% of the time and broken the other 50%, while keeping Vayne's fantasy as a tankbuster."

Q: Shank Vayne rolls a long distance and adds 10/20/30/40/50% AD to her next attack. This attack is sure to crit when it hits from behind and stuns monsters for 2 seconds.

Context: "This ability will separate good Vaynes from great Vaynes who properly utilize its dash component to position for maximum damage, and also reward aggressive plays.

W: Silver Blades Passive: Vayne deals additional 20/30/40/50/60 true damage every three attacks. If the target is a monster, they also take 10/15/20/25/30 % of their max HP as true damage. No cap.

Context: "We are doing this change to encourage Vayne to stick to their jungle... by completely removing one of her abilities in lane".

E: Wreck Passive: Vayne gains 4/8/12/16/20% Attack Speed Vayne smashes her enemy with the pommel of her sword, sending them flying. If they collide with the terrain they take double damage and are stunned. Range reduced to melee. Base damage down to 15/30/45/60/75 Now scales with 150% of AP in addition to AD.

Context: "We are gutting reducing the base damage on this ability, but to compensate we will make it scale off a stat (AP) that is clearly not as effective to build as her primary stat (AD). And we at Riot also love passives, so we are adding some good old raw stats to this ability."

R: Dragonslayer

Passive: Vayne gains 50/75/100% Attack Speed against Dragon and Baron. Every autoattack against those two monsters reduce the cooldown of Smite by 2/4/6 seconds.

Active: Vayne swaps weapons and wields her large sword. While using the sword her passive is disabled, but her attacks cleave through the main target, and apply full Silver Blades effect to all champions hit.

Context: "We are solidifying Vayne's role as a jungler by making her already formidable objective control unparalleled. And we also feel that with her being pretty kitable while her ultimate is active, she deserves to instagib anyone unfortunate enough to exist in her melee range for 3 attacks."

Oh, and I forgot one important thing... These changes might once again overshadow Lee Sin as a prime jungler, so we'll have to buff him despite him being in a decent place already. Decent is not enough for Mr. Bigplays.

New passive: Way of the Fist Lee Sin starts the game with a Devourer. All of his abilities count as two autoattacks for the purpose of on-hit effects. His old passive remains of course. Did we mention that we looove multiple passives?

Bard

Passive - Vietnam Flashbacks: I didn't read his lore or anything, but he looks like the type of dude that has been through a lot in his life. So thematically, he should experience severe Vietnam flashbacks every 10 seconds. In this phase, Bard's module changes into Rocky Balboa and every enemy is given the looks of a Vietnamese soldier before he is ready to release his rampage. Passive 2 - Rampage: Nothing screams Wandering Caretaker like the second amendment and when you say the right to bare arms, that means everything and anything in my eyes. In bard's Rocky Balboa transformation, his chimes turn into ammo packs, his meeps turn into throwable grenades and he now has a fully automatic rifle, a pistol and a bayonet. These were the weapons he used in vietnam. So this fits perfectly with his lore!

Q - Battlecry: Bard screams the names of his dead allies in agony as he wishes to avenge them. Bard shoots his fully automatic rifle and pistol in every direction, along with throwing a barrage of grenades for 5/10/15/20/25 seconds. Dealing %max health in damage. While his Q is active, he reflects any damage done to him because fuck you.

W - Die peasants: Bard sets up a row of unpassable sandbags, along with a turret to accompany it. Any damage sent in direction of bard will be absorbed by the sandbags by 95%. Bard now has the ability to control a turret. Anytime Bard fires his weapon of mass destruction, he screams "DIE YOU PEASNANTS" dealing %bonus health in damage

E - Slasher: Bard gains an aura that absorbs all incoming damage as he swings his bayonet wildly at the enemy team, dealing 80% of whatever the person's ability power is.

R - Harrier Strike: Bard uses one of those old wartime phones while in the battlefield to call in an airstrike within an area. Anytime an enemy is killed by this ability. Bard screams in joy and he is able to recast this ability once again. This ability deals %100 armour in damage

I have never played Bard, and i will probably never play Bard. But the most important fact that we have to consider: I don't give a shit. It's going to go through whether you like it or not and i'm making BANK off of this shit bitch! And i know that my fans will defend me by saying he has counterplay and that anyone who can't kill him is a bronzie. So, peace out until next time baby!!!

Trundle is now an AD/AP hybrid Caster. Pillar no longer slows, and neither does Chomp.

"I decided that there is no healthy way to balance Pillar because its terrain, a displace, and exponential soft CC. Nothing should be that interesting and not made by me."

Pillar now does AOE magic damage that scales off of AD and AP.

Chomp is now ranged as trundle shoots his teeth at people. It's CDR scales with attack speed.

His W (Domain) now only works if an ally stands on it for the duration. It no longer gives attack speed.

New ult Passive: Killing Baron gives Trundle Worms and temporarily forces him into his traditional skin and provides a unique buff that increases his attack speed by 1000% but disables his ult.

His ult is now melee.

Renekton now throws his double swords in a boomerang fashion like Sivir for his Q, healing him for everything hit as it already does. It also scales on AP as well as AD and ricochets off of champions like Brand 's ult, but deals 15% less dmg per champion.

Ren's W now crits instead of stuns. Renekton now gains AP from crit chance instead of crit chance. Buying IE plays a loop of people laughing for your enemy laner in teambuilder.

His ult now has 500% longer range but scales its damage on crit chance.

His E can can only target allies now, no longer does damage, and its second dash is also an aoe burst heal that heals for 1/50th of your crit chance.

"The new Renekton is going to be another amazing botlane alternative to ADCs, especially as armor items continue to fall into irrelevance. His synergy with other highly mobile champs like... um... Leona- yeah thats good- Leona will make him amazeballs.' -CertainlyT

That fate is something I wouldn't wish unto even my worst enemy. Nobody, even riven deserves the shit we Mordekaiser mains have to put up with. The worst thing about this whole ordeal is that we can do nothing but idly stand by and watch how our favorite champion's being warped into something we don't even recognize as old Morde. I'd rather be able to all out fight for a fairer rework and fail than simply be forced to grin and bear it...

We've decided to turn Vayne into a jungler. As is, she's a little bit too toxic in the top lane, and scales pretty awfully in the bot lane. She pretty much needs a dedicated "protect-the-kog" build, but without Kog's range or safety. She's also lacking a sort of identity, so we are reworking her looks and lore completely to suit an identity not present in league yet; the biker.

Passive: We thought that she moves a little too slow, so now she pulls out a Harley whenever she's alone for longer than 3 seconds. It accelerates faster and faster, but steering gets worse the longer she has it on. If she rams it into an enemy she deals 100 + (10xlevel) + (5% max health) and knocks them up. It works as a large monster for the sake of her Q interaction.

Q: Vayne hoists a nearby allied minion or neutral monster. She can recast it to throw it anywhere within X range. Large monsters/her Harley deal more damage. All monsters stun in the landing radius. She can channel her Q to attempt to wrangle Baron, but this takes longer, but at the end she can throw him global range to instantly kill everyone in the radius.

W: Every 3 glass bottles thrown, Vayne gets one that's slightly better made. One from a different era. It deals flat bonus true damage and also deals a percentile of the targets health. This is to give her some damage since she's building tanky.

E: Vayne rips off her suit and puts on a John Cena hat. She charms anyone she attacks briefly and turns invisible (because you can't see the champ). She also moves closer to injured allied and heals them when nearby. She can recast it while it is on to summon a steel chair from the 5th dimension of hell. It counts as a large monster for the interaction of her Q. She can also throw HERSELF while under the effects of her E.

R: Vayne pulls out a massive bottle rocket and aims it in a direction. When it hits the first enemy champion, it continues moving forward through walls. Every wall penetrated and permanently broken deals X more damage to that enemy. There is no limit to walls broken. At the end of the walls, when there are none left to pass through, that enemy has Vayne's permission to die.

We hope Vayne becomes a bit more safe and secure in the top and jungle lane, while fitting our diversity quotas. Angry biker wrestlers are a very niche market, but one we hope will join League of Legends.

The new solo Morde is handicapped to 325 MS and 2 basics abilities.

  • He kills himself while casting spells. That and the fact that he is now slower and has less health early makes him a ideal target to blow early.
  • His base damages have been all nerfed hard during early game meaning that his shield is a non factor when it comes to bloody lanes. He simply can't compete as he lacks both health, MS, CC, and damage early.
  • I don't see him viable at all at top, even less at mid. He's now too slow and any bruiser at top will simply get you out of lane pretty fast.
  • You could get away with it during certain matchups but against highly skilled players I don't see it happening. This Morde is nowhere as good as the current one when it comes to self dependencies. He will simply lack a lot early and probably will assist in getting the team a defeat should the enemy team targets him.

His scalings are pretty messy right now. He needs to buy, health, damage, ms, mr, and a crucifix in order to be decent.

This Morde is neither nowhere as fun as the current one.

We love how Lucian is such a diverse champion with great escapes and a nice wave clear ult. In order to balance him and keep his identity as "The Purifier", we decided to turn him into a melee champion wielding a giant cross. Placing him in the top lane was an absolutely brilliant suggestion to balance out his true laning potential.

Can I ask what makes you so dissatisfied with the Morde rework (I'm prepared to face downvotes and rage in exchange for an answer)? I don't play Morde whatsoever; I actually got him as my mystery champion and have been wanting to play him for quite some time, but simply don't have the confidence to play in solo lanes in fear of harassment. Anyways, what don't you like about new Morde? As far as I've seen, this is basically what they did (meaning I don't know everything but this is generally what I know): His shield can only be cast when an Ally is near, and it now grants move speed as well as the original shield, and also, his ultimate can summon the dragon as a ghost after it is defeated by his team and he has damaged it in some way, shape, or form. Based on those two facts, all this does is encourage him to play in a solo lane. Why not mid lane, not use your shield, and just go straight to the dragon with bot lane when one or the other has beaten their lane per se? I'm sorry for sounding so ignorant, I just don't fully understand how Mordekaiser is ruined; it seems like all they wanted to do was increase his diversity and create one of the first APC champions (that at least I've ever seen), while still ensuring his solo laning is viable.

After Ezreal players started playing Runeglaive, we realized that the players really want to play him as a jungler instead of anything else.

So his W only damages monsters now. He's also melee.

Sejuani's tankiness was making the game too boring, to the point where mid-lane assassins couldn't 100-0 her from max health in one combo. That's really bad, but we felt that if we were going to successively nerf her items like Zeno's Paradox, then it's time that we give her something back. What is she getting in return, you ask? _#lcspigplays!

If Glacial Prison successfully hits an enemy champion, it now deals an additional 12/14/16/18/20% of that champion's max health as magic damage in the entire AoE. Mind you, this is not a buff - we just want to lower her skill floor. It is a well-known fact that her ultimate more or less isn't ever used beyond Gold 3.

We also added the following to her ultimate - Passive: Kill the filthy communist - Glacial Prison now deals true damage to those champions whose CS is closest to the nearest prime number exceeding 10*(champion level). (The floor prevents supports from stopping exactly on a prime number for the whole game). This passive is double-good. First reason: She really doesn't like communists and their communist factoring! It fits her lore like a glove. Second reason: this passive has counterplay, but it's really flipping weird and sometimes makes it feel bad to last hit. We feel like "last hitting should feel wrong" and "Sona needs to rush to 181 CS and stop there" are really interesting metas that we should force players to explore. Third (bonus) reason: This affords a unique opportunity for players to deeply familiarize themselves with the list of prime numbers between 0 and 600, and that's really educational.

This is basically the best rework of all time. To put in perspective how seriously we mean that, If this rework were a music video and it were passed over in favor of Single Ladies at an awards show, Kanye would steal the microphone to shout down Beyonce. It's that good!
