Conqueror and Mages
I don't usually post here, but I think it is important to let my thoughts known as a top laner as we tend to get hit the most with the conqueror changes. I play champions like
and all of these champions of mine tend to be users of conqueror with exception of Graps of the Undying occasionally and that is on Garen or nasus. However, the new conqueror has not been affective on my bruisers and juggernauts it has performed exceptionally well on mages I played and mages that I play against.
The old Conqueror's true damage might have put the tanks out of the meta but it seemed to be much healthier than what it is now. Every game in plat since when I was plat 2 to now that I have fallen in plat 4 I have encountered
using the conqueror rune and rather abusing it. These champions previously all used Phase Rush and occasionally swain used Grasp of the Undying top lane. This is very unhealthy for the game as these champions rather gain absurd amounts of Ability power and healing with this rune also adding the existance of
which adds up to the gained AP.
However you will say but
used and still uses it too. Yes but
is a melee champion and sad to say much so after his rework and most runes are not as functional on him as conqueror was and is right now.
So let's summarize; Conqueror was rather in much more healthier state before the Preseaon 10 even though it pushed tanks out of the Meta which weren't in the Meta to begin with for a long time and now wreaks havoc in the midlane and specially top lane which has recently been released from the menace that Kleptomancy was on champions like

Conclusion: Maybe Conqueror needs a nerf again? I thought it was healthy when only Mage bruisers like
used it not like most of the mages with questionable balancing as of right now,
. I think conqueror should just be pushed to be a bruiser or juggernaut rune with minimal exceptions like
which has been in need of something to work with for a long time now.
