I'm tired of these op assassins assassinating me. Nautilus, Poppy, Gragas, Malphite, Rammus and soon it'll be Sejuani because you buffed her back up for no reason. Please end this endless oppressive assassin meta and gut these assassins. Tired of being 100-0'ed by them with absolutely zero counterplay.

I don't think "ONE SHOT" means what you think it does...
Like, actually one shotting someone with one ability or one auto attack. Not many champs in league can actually do this. Maybe stacked Nasus, Veigar or Old Poppy Ult+Q. People who land combos that don't allow counter play isn't one shotting.

One shotting someone in League has come to mean being killed with one combo.
Rundus11 votesYou would be careful to use "assassin meta" so liberally. Were you not here for the s4 assassin meta? The champs op listed were merely a few of many who could easily 100 to 0 someone with DFG, and they did either one shot or come close. Full AP Amumu can still do that decently, but not like he did. Good god that was an awful time. Full AP trist jumping in, DFG -> ulting you for an insta-kill and jumping right on out was so annoying. Trying to play standard casters was so much harder than today. I can lane and play against a Talon or Zed or a bruiser as Malzahar or Viktor or some other mage thats not Ziggs and win a good bit of the time. Back then it didn't matter. I may win against the full AP Trist mid in lane, but her good friend full AP Malphite was sure to come in from top, or a Leona-Draven from bot with their Rengar jungle. I could play Mundo and still get killed by 1 DFG-wielding Katarina ins 3 seconds or less with my full MR build. As long as it never gets that bad again, I can learn to play with the new metas as they rise and fall.

Brockinroll1 votesIts funny you think its tank meta. Its not at all, The strongest thing is lots dmg+survivability. "sure you think those tanks do damage" most people do if they get ahead. But take Graves for Example, Tons of damage, build Deaths Dance, and You have Tons of lifesteal and are mobile. Don't complain about someone like Nautilus, I made a guide for Nautilius top on Lolking in pre-season 5, and there were no changes that suddenly made him op or anything. Its how he can cover the CC for a team that lacks it because they are mostly damage. And He can can cover the peel/survivability part of his team as they can dish out more damage.
