Ekko is the same just more ap oriented. Idk about shaco. Zed is arguably the same just more quality of life and has to try harder to get his AD steroid.

They can burst like an assassin, but Diana has to commit and has no escapes, while Riven has sorta drawn out combos to get full DPS out. It's hard to tell the difference because they are secondary assassins as well, but there's a reason why Riven is a better top laner than Kha Zix for example. They're bursty fighters.
Noct on the other hand is listed as assassin, but I don't reeeeeally consider him a true assassin because usually you have to build bruiser style unless you're super fed. Otherwise Noct as no escapes and just gets blown up.

diana if im remenber she have a stun and a reset on her ult and noc have a shield that blocks everything and also a fear they all have things that help then not necessary mobility
