Ironically, Yas is starting to appear more and more as a midlaner lately - from what I have seen in regular games. (Haven't gone back to ranked yet due to computer crashes triggered by this new client.)

Frankly though, ranked or unranked, I have more of a problem with the type of player who plays Yas than actually Yas himself. Regardless of which side he is on, Yas players tend to be more poisonous than a Twitch attack. Either they are putting down the opponents or putting down their team-mates (because they overestimate their self-worth). I'd be happy to see Yas nerfed or toned down just to silence these turkeys.

really sucks all this Yasuo complaining, I mean just because he builds PD and IE and gets 100% crit chance then gets to build bruiser doesn't make him OP. Do you know how many times I need to press E on a minion wave to be completely impossible to attack or escape while gaining a free 500 HP shield? Freaking ridiculous man, broke my E button... and OMG hitting W when being attacked by a ranged champion to block their AA's is so freakin difficult! God damn how am I suppose to hit W while im spamming E and my 2 sec CD Q??!!? HOW RITO!?!? the damn useless windwall only lasts a measly 3 seconds! They can just stop using projectiles and wait it out while i spam E and Q then i am screwed! Freakin ult is useless, so many displacements in this game I can't ever decide when and where to use it... i gotta stack 3 Q's in order to really trust that i will get a knockup, takes way too much time man, then I gotta hit the damn thing! If i E+Q to get a guaranteed knock-up it doesn't have range!

You forgot the passive's double crit and the fact that he builds a shield in the direction he is moving. The fact that his Q counts as a basic attack which has +100% attack damage and can also crit, etc., etc., etc.

This joke was never funny. Its actually sad that there are real threads like this though( obviously not talking about yours) because it means players refuse to learn to get better, and just turn to whining on the forums instead. Sure, Yasuos a complete douche to play against, but its not like he's impossible to beat.

You just have to win before he gets 2 items ,otherwise, his 100% crit will enable him to never die and also grant him CDR on his wall so you can never hit him.

Quite honestly, I find Yasuo to be the easy to face in mid lane. I rejoice when I am facing him in lane, he is actually quite easy to defeat if you play your champ right. Sorry if that sounds rude or something amongst those lines, but it's just how I feel.

If you want tips, I can share a few.

I just hate fighting Fizz, LeBlanc, and Swain. They are pet peeves in lane. OMG, Fizz blocks everything. LeBlanc is just too dashy. Swain is a cc / lane-pushing God. His ult is honestly OP. Riot, please nerf him down!!!

Expert Ekkos are annoying as well. I also hate Kennen and Ryze (just way to OP).

My favorites to fight are Yasuo, Ahri, and Katarina. Zed is the middle.

I have yet to fight Vel'Koz, Syndra, and many other mid-lane champions.

Oh! Kassadin, haven't fought him yet. Although, I hear he is annoying.

I have fought:

Ahri. Zed. Katarina. Yasuo. LeBlanc. Fizz. Swain D: (God I hate him). Annie (once or twice). Ekko. Malzahar. Ryze. Azir. Kennen. Veigar. I believe that is all.

The only problem with Yasuo has always been how his kit allows him to abuse certain items. I mean, he rushed Phantom Dancer, which is an item that has been overtuned for a while now and gets even more offense from it than normal. He then rushes Frozen Mallet which has been on the verge of deletion for 3 seasons because of how toxic it is when good. Frozen Mallet's sister was good for one season and was gutted.

The solution to Yasuo is to increase the damage reduction on his crits. Lower his output with low AD and force him to buy much more.

No, we've got tank Yasuo now because a little goes a long way for him. He gets more mileage out of crit and small amounts of AD than anyone else. The damage reduction from phantom dancer also doesn't help. You need to make his damage with these items so terrible he HAS to priorize a lot more AD to function.

We got Tank Yasuo because he synergizes extremely well with both crit and on hit items. For a while, the best Yasuo build looked like this. Yasuo item 3078 item 3022 item 3068 item 3156 item 3742 item 3111 . That build has 0 crit in it and it was his undisputed best build at the time. Guess what happens if you nerf crit on Yasuo? You start seeing builds like this again. You nerf crit? Then Yasuo builds like this: Yasuo item 3153 item 3814 item 3047 . You do not want that. Yasuo mains don't want that. And Riot especially doesn't want that.

Once upon a time he was supposed to have low base stats and have a weak early. Vayne too. These champs could due with having their damage hit too.

Solution to Yasuo is to nerf the overtuned bruiser items, get him back to what he originally built, which was high damage but low livability beyond W and passive shield. The big issue are items, we all saw Lucian abuse PD, Gnar abuse FM, or Jax and triforce. Triforce isn't the biggest issue though. Make FM less useful on non-tank champions, get rid of the bullshit on PD that makes it impossible to escape someone.

Its his kit. He gets double the Crit value from overtuned ADC items. Phantom Dancer's passives compound the problem with him building Frozen Mallet. He slows you as well and gets a lot of Milage from the tiny amount of AD it gives because of the crit value he gets. Dumpster his crit damage or reduce his crit bonus. He needs to be forced into itemizing a lot of AD to be effective.

He's only strong when people find new builds to use from patches. Like the frozen force build that tore up ranked, then when it died out he didn't have as high winrate. The kit itself works fine, when you add overtuned items to any champ that can benefit from them it becomes OP. Gnar with Mallet and BC was insane.

I don't think Yasuo is busted right now, I think his kit is just super un-fun to play against. His mobility invalidates a lot of skillshot champs, and his windwall negates other projectiles he can't dodge. He also gets fairly crazy zoning with his 3rd Q(Which he can hold for 10 seconds). Furthermore, his CC is quite a lot better than others in his class, one being an instant cast, the other being a linear skillshot with crazy range/targeted cast, which nobody else has, (The only comparable CC is Ekko's W, but that has a 3 second cast time). Another point, his kit makes it difficult to punish him for his mistakes. His windwall can negate CC used to catch him out (Thresh hooks, Vayne's Condemn, Nami's ult etc),And he can seriously run circles around entire teams (Look at like, ArKaDaTa videos). Finally, he's never really weak in a game, unless he's specifically behind. His damage and harass are quite good early, his mid-game Shiv+I.E. Spike hits hard, and he never really falls off later.

In all seriousness i know u can prock the windsheild but then hes just gonna dash to u smack u dash away throw a Hurricane at u then ult u and ignite, "stay away from minions thou thats how u r safe" so how im i supposed to get farm if this fuckin yas neglects my first damage, dashes to me, stabs me, throws a hurricane (somtimes i just accidently stumble into it) then deletes me under the turret RINSE AND REPEAT UNTIL YAS GETS INFINITY EDGE and gets a bs unearned Penta
