Why can't we vote out a toxic player at the draft screen?
This has probably been brought up before, but I would like some discussion about it.
We've all had it happen. You have that one guy who either instalocks a champion out of position, or is just plain toxic before the game even starts.
The only resolution is for someone to dodge and wait out the timer, while the toxic player suffers no consequences and continues to the next draft mode where he can do it again until he finally gets into a game. The person who is disruptive to the process suffers zero penalties.
There should be an option where if the four other players unanimously agree to vote this player out, he is placed into a 5 minute dodge queue. It won't escalate to the 15 minute mark nor does it count towards his dodges for that day. If the toxic player is part of a duo queue, his partner is not able to vote in his favor. Additionally, the amount of times your voted out of a queue is tracked like any other infraction and can trigger Riot to issue punishments towards your account for habitual offenders.
I understand the main concerns would be people exploiting this process, but there must be a way to create a system where this is possible with limited abuse potential. I just hate how the toxic players who refuse to abide by draft order or are just plain toxic are either forcing you into playing a 45 minute game with them until they're eligible to be reported, or YOU have to dodge and suffer a timer for their bad behavior.
