Hextech Crafting question

Heyo guys, just curious, I got a chat restriction a bit ago, I want to say a month ago, that I totally earned, but finished it and have been behaving (I haven't gotten in trouble in a bit so I'm guessing I'm doing better) it's saying, "You are ineligible to earn loot due to previous behavioral restrictions." and I thought you could only not earn if you where currently introuble, so I'm curious, did I miss something where there is an amount of time where you have to wait after you've earned a punishment or is it just a kink in the system? Any answers are appreciated, and totally feel free to rag on me for getting the restriction - I was toxic and deserved it.
