Community Toxicity ft. Yuumi

Hello. I have been playing this game for a little over two years now but I'm sure I will be drowned out by veterans and higher tiered players, but I really have to say it, win rates do not mean anything. I have never had more fun playing a champion in this game then the first time I picked up Quinn randomly. Yuumi is by far my favorite champion and the only champion I want to spam play. I have a right to enjoy myself and play the game just as much as anyone else in my games. I have never purposely inted or trolled a single game, and have always tried very hard to win them with my team in mind. If this is all true, then why does MY team, whether in normal games or ranked, have the right to #1. Ban my champion if I hover her, saying that they're "doing me a favor" or simply citing the fact that her winrate is 35-39% and not taking into account that everyone plays the champion differently, #2. Dodges multiple times (in ranks and norms) if I DO end up getting to pick her, calling me a "%%%" or telling me to "k ys" (you can fill in the letters) and #3. Deciding to troll me and my team if I get to pick her and flame me the entire game and if we lose calling me useless whether or not I won lane or got 6 kills or did not feed.

I haven't been into league as much as some other people and certainly not as long, but I have experienced quite a bit of toxic behavior and this is by far the worst I have seen. I am by no means a "bad" Yuumi player. I'll link my op.gg with some games. I am not god tier by any means but I would like to think I'm at least average. I had to play most of them with groups of 4 other friends or people that wouldn't ban me out or flame me for no reason since I could barely get to play her in multiple ranked games. I want to climb just as much as anyone else. So why does the community get to decide whether or not I can enjoy myself while I climb? Why do they get to decide if I get to play the game that I want to play? It's a team game (even if solo queue doesn't feel like it sometimes), so why does my team get to handicap me based on information that doesn't always apply to every player? How am I supposed to gage my ability to play the champion if I hardly get to play her in any serious ranked games? Do me and the rest of the community a favor and chill out.

Thanks.

Well, unfortunately yuumi is new and currently has a horrible stigma around her

So even if you were an amazing yuumi, people would assume it would be another bad one

I personally enjoy her as well, but I also find she doesn't pair amazingly with most ADCs

Slap her on a bruiser tho, and oh buddy it's gg

This is something you just get to deal with. Personally, I think the champion is god tier in the right hands. That being said, across all 4 accounts: Not a single game has gone through without me banning Yuumi in ranked regardless of whether our support wants to play it. Do you want to know why? Because if you want to learn or practice something, do it in normals. I am not saying you specifically. I let this champion through for the first 2 days in ranked, and then saw feed after feed after feed from people first or second timing the champion. And the disparity between those people and you is completely massive. So you get to thank the for fun environment of people who want to first time her for her getting banned or dodges. Obviously I don't support the last 2 examples, cause they are just unnecessary. I would suggest going into normals and spamming her until this all blows over, probably 2 weeks, cause this is something you are going to have to deal with in ranked.
