Thresh's ult and it's place in a match.

TLDR AT BOTTOM

So I've always been a fan of using Thresh supp when I'm que'ing up with friends (as I don't trust myself nor other rando's with him). One thing I've always felt though was how underwhelming his ult was and how little it really affected the game. I noticed this more pungently when I was playing against a Thresh and Vayne. Thresh went for a pull landing on me, he quickly flung himself onto of me and used his ult. Besides taking many pot-shots from Vayne I was able to get away almost effortlessly, despite Thresh's ult surrounding me. The slow did make it annoying but that was it; annoying. Later in game during team fights Thresh's ult essentially did nothing. It never stopped anyone on my team from finalizing a kill, it never helped his team secure a kill, and in the end his ult ultimately did little to affect the game.

Has anyone else felt this about Thresh's ult? Maybe does Riot need to do a buff or rework? I'd love to hear some more opinions.

TL;DR: Thresh's ult does little or nothing most of the time. Should Riot fix it?

you might possibly be insane if you think thresh needs buffs.

Lol there was a Thresh game I played where I got like 12 or so kills, most of these came from low health people running face first into my ult. It may feel underwhelming, but combo it by dashing into a Gnar ult and slowing anyone that tries to run is amazing. Basically use it to trap multiple people because in soloQ, normally the squishes will try to run out first and they get slowed and destroyed by your team with no hope of escape.
