If you have 80 base + 150 bonus armor, enchanted armor improves your damage reduction from 0.697 to 0.704. You'll need the enemy to do about 600 damage per auto to be preferable to the 4 damage reduction from block and unyielding. This difference is massive in the early game.
Enchanted armor sucks lets be real lol
the 5% bonus resist increase only has any real impact if you have over 100 armor and MR. Even with 200 armor, 2 point in that mastery only gives you 10 more armor, which is quite small considering that you already have 200 bonus armor to begin with.
It only works with bonus armor and MR, so it does nothing with you base stats (I'm dumbfounded at the number of players who still don't realize this after over a year and a half of using it).
-4 damage from champ autos and -2 damage from all other champ damage is worth a lot more early on than the minute scaling enchanted armor offers, which makes it exceptional for early game trading.
