I Miss 5v5 Chess

A college friend got me into this game in 2015, I'd always dismissed MOBAs as "too much fantasy" despite reading fantasy and playing Elder Scrolls. I really got into it when I figured out it was a 5v5 live chess match. But the game doesn't feel like that any more. I'd been thinking about it for a while, but stuck with it because I enjoy this game. Then 8.10 came out and jungling didn't feel as fun as it used to, because it felt like only one (really one and a half) styles were viable. But I switched to mid/bot and kept playing. Then 8.11 came out and I've not played a single normal game. I don't have the heart ("oh you can't say it sucks if you've not tried it", maybe not, but I don't really care to, it was bad enough before). I've played a bunch of ARAMs. Those are still fun with a group of friends. But thinking about it today I downloaded an old PvP game I used to play, and maybe I won't like it for the same reason I left it. Maybe I'll find another game to try. I've not left this game, but today I started downloading other options to get my competitive gaming fix. I miss 5v5 chess and I hope Riot brings it back. I grew to really love this game.

I know this post is about LOL, but from what I've heard (not experienced) DOTA is actually more about Chess, than LOL

LoL has never been remotely close to Chess, but defensive/comeback options were much better in older seasons, which allowed for more strategic play.
