Making Red Ezreal Viable?

Does anyone else think that Ez's Q wouldn't be OP I'd it could crit? Or maybe just the AD portion? Blue Ez outshines Red atm, and Ezreal's lategame is not reflective of his skillcap... I think making Q able to crit would be fine...

red ezreal

  1. is this actually a thing? and
  2. are you seriously suggesting that riot should balance their game to cater to builds of a certain item color?

Ezreal becomes Critplank 2.0 if his Q could crit.

It would be OP if it could crit.

You're mostly giving Ezreal a 1100 range auto-attack with almost no downsides. With ~100 bonus damage per shot and the capacity to hit targets that are concealed via stealth, fog of war, and brush.

Also, with Infinity Edge you're looking at Mystic Shot suddenly being able to do 150% more damage at least every 4th time. That's not a minor buff. That's pretty major. Especially seeing you could chain-lightning with Shiv on every shot as well.

Or maybe just the AD portion? Blue Ez outshines Red atm

Red Ezreal isn't a thing. Bloodthirsters and Phantom Dancers don't stack anymore, they've got unique passives now. item 3072 item 3046 item 3072 item 3046 item 3072 item 3046 :(

Most of the key ADC items are golden, so if you're naming builds after item colors I'd go with that instead. item 3031 item 3087 item 3078item 3006 item 3086 item 1053

and like others have pointed out, Blue build was called blue build because the items were blue: item 3209 item 3042 item 3025 item 3158 item 3035

and Ezreal's lategame is not reflective of his skillcap...

Skillcap ideally shouldn't have anything to do with champion power.

Otherwise high-skillcap champions would overpower low-skillcap champions in high skill brackets of play, causing lower skillcap champions to be a false choice and a waste of time to learn and master.

If Ez Q could crit it would be overpowered giving him power he isn't supposed to have.

Imagine the Ezreal with 50% attack speed steroid, critting you with AAs and Qs, specially with the low CD his Q has.

Okay, I get it. I know. Its just a personal definition that makes sense because it explains why Red Ez is called Red.

The builds are named after the buff he benifits from, Blue for a CDR/Q spam Ez and Red for and ADC build.
