Shouldn't Duo Bots Be Prioritized Together?

I understand giving some leeway with a primary and secondary role, but shouldn't two people who queue together as Bot and Support roles be prioritized together?

It seems like a majority of the time my Bot partner winds up getting their secondary role, leaving me supporting someone who I can't communicate with as well and likely has a different playstyle. This, despite them getting their Bot pick almost always when queuing solo.

In my opinion, the priority should be both primary picks > both secondary picks > split primary/secondary picks.

Nah, no one should be excused from having a second role.

Just have your guy ask the bot laner if he wants to trade. You should get it more often than you don't.

That's what we do, and it usually works out, but I don't see why it seems to prioritize splitting us up.

If you 3 or 4 queue and two players only pick sup/bot in your group, those 2 players can be guaranteed those 2 roles. But with just 2-queue, you can't both always get your role of choice. That would cause way too high of queue times since it doesn't allow enough possibilities to match other players with. So it's very justifiable that with 2 players that you should need to select at least 3 different roles.
