Why do you leave Team Builder?

As someone who has hosted many Team Builder games (since friends can not search for a team together), the biggest frustration is having people join and then leave. Just now, we were waiting for a Support and Marksman for bot lane, only to have a Support and Marksman alternatingly connect, then disconnect. I presume this is because they want to join a full team, but they would have if they had waited more than two seconds (literally). To all the people who solo queue Team Builder, why do you disconnect from a team?

I'd leave if the team comp didn't sit right with me.

I only disconnect when I get easy countered team (love off meta fun, but), those teams that go 5 ad champions and wonder why everyone on the enemy team has thornmail and two of em have frozen heart. Thats it. I love different games, I just dislike those obvious loss games. Would rather spend 20 minutes trying something new that doesn't work than watch something old fail miserably. My piece.

Especially with you talking about the Support/Marksman alternate leaving, I can easily sum this up since I play Support. If I go into a lobby and they have a Kalista marksman and I'm a squishy support, I'm going to leave. If I'm a support that doesn't work well with whatever marksman they have sitting there, I'm also going to leave. If the marksman is taking some stupid spells that don't benefit us both (looking at you, barrier instead of heal when I take exhaust and can't bring heal), I'm also going to leave.

Since the bot lane has to work together in lane, many supports and marksmen are picky about who their partners are.

i find another group if the champions on my team aren't what i was looking for

too many assassins, not enough waveclear, too much AD, no frontline, troll champions (based on position), etc.

i've also found that if i join a game with a mid and top but no support or jungler it's often faster to leave group until i find a team that has at least one of the latter two already joined.

I typically leave if something I see in the teamcomp or role selection bothers me. For example, I typically leave when I see unconventional picks recently played in tournaments or streams (TF jungle, AD Leblanc) that I don't trust allies to play with, incorrect role selection (Fighter + Bot Lane Ashe, Tank Fizz, etc), or a team comp I don't believe would work well (all AD with no innate armor pen or CC, etc).

While the role selection is a bit picky, I don't really think I can trust someone who can't even choose their role correctly to play well.

i usually stay in the first group i join when i solo, but as a host of many teambuilder games i get the frustration.
