New servers created packet loss, the very thing you lied and said you were trying to fix.

You kept saying, "Don't worry that we're giving you twice the ping, you'll have reduced packet loss and it will feel more smooth". However, now that you decided to move the server to Chicago, not the middle of the country, but almost completely on one side, to fix people having to connect from almost or even all the way across the country there are new people who have to connect almost all the way across the country. That isn't even touching the poor people in Hawaii and Alaska. But beyond making everything twice as delayed for me, my main complaint by far is how many actions just never go off. This has been the worst day playing this game and I really don't know if I can continue to play a game where certain champions are completely unplayable because combos are not something you can reliably hope to pull off even if you have a perfect mastery of a champion. Please don't tell such a disgusting lie as the one you did about reducing the packet loss that you have just caused

Do you know where Chicago is? It's in the central time zone in the corridor right down the middle of the country. Putting it in Kansas wouldn't make a big enough difference to fix whatever your problem is.

Geography, people.

Seen someone from Hawaii confirm 110 ping. Still playable there and still playable for the west coast. If you're experiencing packet loss, head to the connections issues megathread, download the application, and fill out the form. It's a confirmed issue with Verizon and others.

I live in Southern Alaska, and my ping was originally 52-60, now it's 95-140 depending. It switches around a lot.

I don't know where it's going to settle when we're done, but I'm asking myself why people made the choice to play with that type of ping.

It's not enjoyable.

  • Server move not even 24 hours: lets complain about issues

But seriously. Give it a a few days. I'm east coast and I have packet loss right now. Not much but it is noticeable. And no, Chicago is not "completely one side". When it was located in CA it was completely on one side.

Dude it hasn't even been a full day yet. Im sure there are things they'll need to iron out.

I think there was another step to the packet loss problem than just the relocation of the server. Didn't riot Say something about creating their own network for league to work on?

Also, I live in the Twin Cities, and My ping went from 90 down to about 40. But I'm still having issues with ping spikes though. Also because my computer's a toaster.

No real problem here in Hawaii. 30 ping increase, but not a problem.

I was excited to see 55ms, down from 100ms.

Then the spikes happened.

Sitting in Texas. But it's probably because I have AT&T.

Maybe give them time? servers might need some time to stabilize.

Vancouver, BC. 23ms to 80ms during peak hours today so far.
